Get NaN every time. And don't say "you didn't fill in something". I'm pretty sure I'm capable of putting text in boxes.
Perhaps it's related to some of the boxes (level, points, forum posts) having the text "[ Type Function ]" in them by default?
An improvement would be to add a way to select and deselect blocks that are in the right orientation.
Might make the game easy though; could be an option.
The tutorials in this game are pretty bad. I'm doing the third tutorial and I have barely any idea how to send a foot soldier out. What does S/H mean? Who knows. And after sending out the foot soldier, some text comes up about digging for about two seconds. I have no idea what it said because it went away too fast.
I found it quite cool. I liked the graphics, although it'd be cool if they had a cel shaded effect to emphasise the cut-out-ness. Also the movement and sound stuff needs a bit of work. :/
The puzzles in this game are awful. There is no connection between what you do and the results. You try and do stuff and maybe something completely unrelated happens. That isn't a game, that's a waste of time.
Math games are good. it would be nice if the graphics were not there, in my opinion (they get in the way)... but I guess you want it to be different. It would be nice if the boxes cleared when you click on them, it's a pain to have to highlight text and/or press delete. I think other things that would add to this game would be: a history table of the variables and answers you have tried so far, and some kind of time element to make it faster to play. Make sure the game is totally playable from the keyboard (using tab and enter), AND totally playable with the mouse (using on-screen calculator buttons!). Also the menu broke after a while, not sure why.
