@neo that would be OP'd. There's a few maps with a relatively wide-open path that you can make more convoluted mazes on, though I can't remember where they are.
@Zinake: no, that just means the initial building cost is zero until you've built one or two. I think the max you can build for free is 4 or 5.
@uberconnor to unlock more skills, you have to find maps with "tome chambers". The simplest type of tome chamber can be unlocked by killing enough reaver(normal) monsters next to it.
so I figured out how to "teleport" all my ships to a destination for free: build a large fleet of weak ships at the destination, and then send all ships there-but include the fleet of weak ships. A similar trick may be used (but for some energy cost) even if one does not have control of a planet in a system. Is this intentional?
Well, the update fixed my "stuck vents" problem.
davito: that was the most "opd" strategy even before the update: surround x4 nefastium with storage and sell the storage every 5-15 minutes
My vents have glitched. Their heat/tick does not update when I buy/sell reactor plates anymore. I shall perform furhter tests...once my nefastium cells have depleted.
Yeah I understand shooter is really unbalanced, and I couldn't really find a formula that makes it balanced for all planet sizes.
