Very fun game, but the Defense tree is a bit weak. It's great as a secondary tree, but without the repeat spells/weapons skills you just don't have the damage and control required to survive.
How do you get clovers from the Storage back into the Stash or Museum? It's very pointless to be able to selectively mutate clovers if you can't use them.
Tip: don't try to complete page by page. It takes too long. Instead, rush through pages until the next stage is tremendously slow, then reset (empty breeders and "pick" two new greens) and fill up spaces. You'll basically be playing a "new game+" with strong upgrades you were able to afford.
Would be nice if you could rotate the level at will. The randomization doesn't prevent people from "remembering" moves, but rotating it allows you to get a different look at it. Absolutely love the 123 base levels; not very fond of the randomly generated ones. Still a clear 5/5 for this game. Great work!
Tip: don't try to complete each tier at first go. Work your way up quickly to tier8, when the Research cost of mutation chance becomes the limiting factor. Then do a second run (starting with Picked clovers) to fill up missing clovers. Filling up the Museum will go much faster due to your upgrades, and this gives you something to do while you gather Research points for the next upgrades.
@RyuuRaiden: PCs are not that hard to get; you get one for every 5 levels (very quickly until lvl1000) and later on you can get a lot from Achievements. You definitely can't buy every PC item, but you can probably afford all Premium generals, which are by far the most important. The game is somewhat P2W, but thoroughly enjoyable to play for free as well.
The graphics and concept gave a good first impression, but I don't understand any of the design choices. There's an ammo limit... okay, but why can't I even drive over zombies? I'm a tank! The "hidden" spots are really precise and the zombies can just push you off. I managed to get one star and finish the first map, giving me 25 gold, not even halfway what I need for a single upgrade. Game needs serious work.
Generally not a huge fan of these games, but this one is incredible. Good interface, good tactical variety and plenty of RPG customization. Very well done!
All the animations are just ridiculously slow. Dev, please listen to the comments this time. The game is slow and tedious. The concept is great, but I just can't be bothered to sit through it.
Got 3 achievements on the first go, but the game froze when I checked them in the lobby. I got the first (30 kills without dying), but then it remained black.
This is silly... even with 0% danger in a zone, they can still be attacked. This means you can't properly bait to your high-defense zones and you still spend over half your days just doing defense missions. Really, really boring.
Thanks!
