Pretty boring. Only tried the first few levels, but so far everything is beatable by putting all upgrades into Staff for mana regen and then adding Mages.
Might want to mention that the Hard badge is just a Stamina badge. The actual challenge is ridiculously easy. I won the "boss battle" at lvl 19 without him actually using a skill.
To be honest, mistyping the name of the game (it's Chupacabra; you spelled it correctly in the game info) was a pretty clear sign that this game wasn't going to rock my socks off.
Good game. Loved the arrows (no having to click randomly for hotspots) and that items disappear once they're no longer needed. Such simple mechanics, but most forget (or don't want) to use it. Really enjoyed it!
Hint: There is no 12th code paper!
a) Tooltips are slow, which is a bit annoying.
b) No tooltips when selecting an item to craft (you have to select, then read, then repick...).
c) Same as 'b' for whether you have the materials. Would be nice to be able to check directly which you can or can't craft with the materials you have.
It's quite weird that later levels have the exact same benefit as the first. Combined with the "better performance = higher profit" mechanic, it basically "forces" you to farm the early levels for upgrades. Which, obviously, is boring.
I thought the Archer's Crit upgrade would be an "armor breaker", but they're still useless against those units. Waste of cash!
Would it be possible to include a "recycle upgrades" option?
I actually love the Blade mechanic. In fact, I thought the game was all-around very good (though a bit repetitive). I quit when I found out that "reset skills" doesn't return the upgrade points. I wanted to try a different gun upgrade path, but noooo.
(Note: I love the game and played it for many, MANY hours.)
The ChronoEngine seems... ridiculously overpowered. Once it comes into play, you have no choice but to kill it quickly. However, since it has 7/34 stats, very few things you can throw at it will actually kill it. I'd definitely reduce the health on that thing...
I didn't mistyped the name! It's based on a tutorial made by a user named chipacabra! Check the credits!
