We don't frown on it, Ehtirno -- we try to grant developers as much freedom as we can within content guidelines. But what we choose to feature on the front page is based almost entirely on user ratings. If you don't think that this version on Kongregate has enough content on its own, then vote with your ratings, and the amount we feature this game will be reflected. That being said, though, I think what's here on Kongregate is still pretty cool.
MindHacker, it is certainly possible to set up our API reporting to require people to complete every level without unlimited darts. This challenge is neither a failure of the API nor a failure on our part to recognize the "loophole" before the challenge went live. It is functioning as we intended -- however, the game is arguably a lot more fun if you play the whole thing without unlimited darts, and I think that having fun playing games is kinda the whole point of this website. Otherwise, why are you here?
This game is great. HeroInteractive's track record was already pretty good, but their games just keep getting better and better. I'm definitely looking forward to whatever you guys come up with next!
WickedInk, an even more obvious critique along those lines is the fact that LSD isn't addictive. I told Eggy this ahead of time... but did he care? Apparently not!
This game is a little rough around the edges, but I think it has potential. Directly comparing it to DTD is a little unfair, since the games have little in common beyond both being in a heavily populated genre... And the term "creeps," I believe, is originally from Warcraft 3, where the tower defense genre was born.
The art in this game is really great. I'm not a huge fan of the actual gameplay in the games that I've seen from Games2win, but I'm optimistic about their future ones.
SeveG, I know this sounds weird, but make sure you're playing the game at http://www.kongregate.com both times rather than http://kongregate.com. It's the same site, but the save feature can be really picky about that difference.
I disagree, Robubie. There are a lot of tower defense games out there, and a lot of them are inspired by Warcraft III, but this one is unique in that the towers themselves define the actual path. There's a lot of strategy in creating your own maze.
