My appreciation for this game grows the more I play it. It's truly unique, and you can really get lost in the details of each stage. It might seem incredibly hard at first, but the tutorial absolutely MUST be watched and fully digested. All of it is important stuff.
This game is a lot of fun once you get the hang of it. I actually found the medium difficulty setting to be easier than "easy," though, since the cave level is really where I get hit the most.
Holy crap, this game is actually possible to beat. Here's my advice: Save up 60 trade-in thingies in the first level to get the Jason mask. Then, be SUPER careful with the igloos. Those are what really sap away your health. You want to jump on top of them, and watch out for jumping eskimos that can hit you (level 2). Don't bother killing them; they just respawn if there are fewer than 2. Wait for them to clear out on one side, then drop down, get a few hits off, and jump back on when they return. Other than that, just play carefully and this game is definitely beatable.
I love the 18's battle minigame. It reminds me a bit of Dark Cut -- taking something we're all familiar with, then throwing it back so far in the past that it actually seems humorous. It gets impossible a little too fast, though, even if I feel like I'm playing as well as the game allows.
To those having problems getting the key in the second level, here's a bit of information straight from Weasel: "Center of the level, 2nd platform from the ground is what I always tell people. I need to just make a map, lol."
For those who are REALLY stuck and wish to completely destroy the fun of this game, here's a walkthrough: http://www.ioji.it/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=28&start=0
This game is excellent. I never thought that dodging mines as a spinning bubble-rod would oddly remind me of Keanu Reeves dodging bullets in The Matrix.
