"Sorry, but the game requires a powerful computer."? WTH? It's 8-bit graphics on a 2d plataformer with a single action button. It should not run like molasses. 1/5. Did not deserve medals.
Sound-caused memory leak even when muted, plus impossible timing luck-based gameplay. Torture to play. Make the square faster, or the moving walls slower.
So, I was gaining the upper hand in a duel, and suddenly the screen zooms out, all my building explode at the same time and I loose. Did I run out of time? Did my enemy develop a WMD? Did a ghost sneak a nuke into my compound? And why wasn't I told why I lost? 1/5
So, this is a story of a depressed teenager that has a mental breakdown involving dissociative disorder and eventually kills himself by jumping off something high. Yeah, that was depressing.
the whole point of the game was that the teenager didn't want to adapt to the real world and he tried to create and utopia. The jumping part represents the collapse of the utopia, coming back to real world
For those that, like me, are playing this only for the badge: the dodge-only levels are absurdly easy. Build a small windy path, place a couple of area burst towers, send all waves at once, and with the money upgrade the area burst. Maybe add a couple of range boosts.
Bubble Tanks TD 1 was a great game. But the TD games have moved on since then, and BTTD2 has not. This is the same original game, and it is boring. Very disappointing.
Export your save file and send it to [email protected], and we'll try to fix the problem!
UPDATE: Thanks for the save file! That helped find the bug - the newest version 1.0.30 is live, and should fix this problem for you. Just refresh the game and see if it works!
Nothing new, just more of the same maps, AI, etc. Still massively relying on luck for most missions, especially the Ultimate achievements. The spiral maps and the ones where the only exit from the starting position is in the path of several guards are ridiculously boring to play - not that the rest are much better. I expected much more from this series than it has delivered.
@Haho9: No idea what you're talking about. I got a perfect score on the first mission, on the first try, without even knowing the game. Maybe you are playing on 4x? If you do, you don't get as much construction points.
@menaragames: yeah, repeating what everyone else said: fix the damn AI. The archers can't be shooting at something in the entrance when the bloody birds only they can kill are about to reach the castle. Either have them prioritize the birds, or at least prioritize whatever is closest to the castle. Or better still, give us the tactical option to us, the players.
Until you fix these bugs, I cannot give you a decent score.
Excellent. First time I see the 'classic' puzzle ported to the computer properly. The technique of really paying attention to matching pictures is what serves here, not just trusting the computer to match edges for you and locking them in place. Congratulations!
