put a bunker on the left side of the screen, and another on the right side, put one gunner in each. get them both to NCO rank. never worry about enemy infantry again :P
"burp..."burp... have you heard of Theoden, of Chaos Desert?T burp..." "burp... are you kidding me? burp... Theoden is the Great Mage! Everyone knows who Theoden is! You must be very drunk! Burp..." "(falls asleep)" LMAO!
I remember playing the first populous' levels so far that the difficulty ramp stops. by then you can't alter the terrain by yourself, you have to use volcano/quake combo
People, don't underestimate your scavengers! for the first parts of the game, you can actually save the time that you would normally waste trying to get more farms. instead focus on getting housing and lab or two, and as much recruiting as possible. let your scavengers take care of food needs for as long as possible.
you walk into a wide area where suddenly turrets come out of the ground all around you. do you:
A. retreat a bit and fire at them from behind cover, or B. run into the middle of them and let them all shoot you at the same time. why does this guy always pick option B?
I literally fidgeted around for half a damned hour on level 4 trying to make it bounce high enough to go to the other side of the map. this is the most retarded 60-pointer badge ever.
@Raz: my strategy when I beat nightmare mode was to at first have 4 or 5 scavengers take care of all my food needs and let my other survivors just concentrate on getting more housing for us and recruiting people. then once I had a big population, take over some farms and turn the scavengers all into scientists. until you cure zombieism, you shouldn't expand any more than you need to otherwise you have to fight way too many zombies each attack
the conjurer is a pretty weak class for both of the normal game modes.. but if you have one for survival, you will seriously OWN since your golems never go away unless they die
