Actually the "More elevators" problem is common in things like these. One of the best examples is the Roller Coaster Tycoon series of PC games which is plagued by "This place is too crowded" and such. It all comes down to people just have to have something to complain about.
It's like a jumbled up mess of concepts that were never fleshed out completely. This game does have a lot of potential but it falls completely short of being a good game. Solutions are all but obvious and no experimentation is allowed. Just not that great of a game. Nice concept, but the game itself is junk.
The more I play the more I, well, just can't play anymore. I want to appreciate this game but as others have pointed out it is quite blatantly a Portal 2 rip. I mean no offense meant, but it's so obvious. The intro screen would have been more appropriate if Leonidas would have just screamed "THIS.... IS... POOOOORTAAAAAL"
The thing that gets me is it seems at times there are no spikes on screen so I jump. I jump right on time to get the "extra boost" jump and it propels me upward fast enough to slide a spike right into my path. By the time I am streaking across the screen, of course, letting go of the button does no good at all.
Undead mode may be bugged for some but not for me. My complaint is that it's too easy to make money. If you just keep taking shot after shot as long as at least one shot from before is still on the screen your multiplier never stops going up. This is most effect when you receive tri-shot ammo. Just keep spraying.
Very unique and artsy. I love both the style and concept of this game. Some have said it was too short but I don't believe so. At most, possibly one more level as I didn't purchase the final upgrade until the next to last level and barely got to use my new skills. However, it seemed to end to me just as it was about to become repetitive. All in all, nice game.
In my opinion one of the things that this game really needs is a button to close the tutorial pop-ups that cover the screen. It isn't a make or break a game type thing but it's still annoying. If you're going to give me a tutorial on each screen and how it works, let me see the screen you're talking about as I click on things so I can see what's going on. It would be nice.
The antigravity physics aren't off... Nothing about this game was meant to be realistic. The antigravity physics have to exist in their current state in order for the game mechanic to work out properly. For instance: Antigravity allows you to freeze in mid-air by enlarging and shrinking, etc. If you "fixed" the physics then the game mechanic would be destroyed.
And yes I know I'm flooding the comments myself but I actually have one useful tip. Don't forget Zeebarf created this WITHOUT the Tab blocker. You can press Tab on any screen to see what items you can click on. That should help with some of those "glitches". ;)
@BakerManispro: I said "nearly all" of the glitches. There are glitches in this game yes but it's more of a problem with flash than with the code. Zeebarf writes so much code when he creates these point and click games that often times the program itself is unable to keep up and causes glitches. It's a bit like the days of transform and lighting... When T&L required games first started coming out people were pushing non-T&L compliant cards to play T&L required games and it caused failures. Imagine Zeebarf is a T&L required developer and, unfortunately, Flash is non-T&L. So if you have an HONEST glitch, that's one thing. But you did turn around and prove my other point. You couldn't find the kitty because you didn't follow the proper game progression did you? That wasn't a glitch was it? Do you show up to play baseball with a hockey stick and blame the umpire when he throws you out for improper equipment use? Yeah... probably.
Nearly all of the "glitches" you people are reporting aren't glitches... This is a point and click game, and no, if you don't have the right item at the right time it isn't going to work properly. I've got an idea for you all... Go outside, find a car with no keys, turn the ignition and see if cranks... Did it? No? That's because YOU DON'T HAVE THE KEY IDIOT.
This game is amazing. It is not very often that you find in one person not only an amazing artist, but also a beautiful writer as well as a near to genius programmer. Unless I am mistaken this one person has done what a team of individuals generally do, and he's offering it for free? I would more than gladly take the trip down to my local store and purchase this game. As much as I may hate what they do to the market, I would honestly say give this game to EA and let them develop it. PLEASE!
Pretty decent. Nothing special really. The game is highly conflicting though. The art style of the actual game itself with the film grain effect and all of that is nice but it makes the rest of the GUI look poorly done. Typos galore. Yes, the crosshair sucks. Played it for a minute or two but it just couldn't hold my attention.
And yes, I for one intend to do everything in my power to ensure that these half-baked, crappy, involve all your friends, spend all your money, build a few things and come back tomorrow, as endlessly repetitive as this sentence, no you can't buy the game you have to buy content at a needlessly high price, lets hope squeezing this on Kongregate makes us a few more dollars on a terrible idea, completely b.s. concept of a game never even have a chance to breathe air here at Kongregate.
