the equipping screen with your backpack should have a body of a character where you drop the item onto that slot to equip it or just double tap instead of alot of little square boxes
right click rewind "must do in middle of game" forward once you should see no hearts let it sit till you're satisfied then click forward once more to get your 5 lives

tip for this game 1. SURVIVAL MODE get a few different guns i went ice -> solar beam -> guaze gun -> homing rocket (important to get)
2. save gold bullions for the last ship and place 3 guaze guns on it untill you have enough for homing rockets
2. place homing rockets on it untill you have enough for the green blob gun
3. homing rocket green blob homing rocket is the best combination
4. get 2 damage amplifications
5. put your ship at the bottom middle of the screen on survival mode and go do whatever you want because you'll never die
