@hri1: It actually uses the fastest win stat for the badge, not the most stars stat. You have to beat the game in under 1,000,000,000 days to get the badge.
It seems like there's a very significant bug in the game. It continually tells me that I'm getting weapons (like I should have just gotten the 5-parallel), but they don't show up in my inventory.
My biggest complaint is that paving multiple tiles at a time is way too tedious. Could we get a hotkey (hold T or something) to pave tiles without having to confirm each time?
That is crap. I leveled up a white mana draining tower near the entrance, counting on the 25% chance to disarm the ninja boss from being able to cloak. He spawned in, the tower attacked him and the disarm symbol appeared above his head, so it procced, but he was still able to cloak and grabbed a gem. Does that tower just not work on bosses, or is it bugged with ninjas in general?
Pronell, you have plenty of control over your speed. You know that you gradually get faster, and that boxes slow you down. That's all you need to know to control your speed. Half of the game is the strategy of controlling your speed.
You can't just hit all the boxes to make it easier, because then you don't have the speed you need to clear the bigger gaps. You need to wait until you get ~full speed, then hit one box and wait until you get back up to ~full speed. If you hit any more, you risk not being able to clear the largest gaps.
I think the game has a fantastic learning curve. It's easy to learn how to judge jumps, pressing the button very briefly to clear little boxes and whatnot. But 1/2 the game is planning and strategy. When to hit a box on purpose because you're going to fast, when to do a huge jump over a bomb instead of a short one because you can see the edge of the building, etc. A truly fantastic game overall.
