Clickable areas too small. Dialogue is long-winded and not funny. I really didn't need to spend 5 minutes listening to the uninteresting and inevitably useless backstory. All gameplay elements have been done, and done better for the most part, in any number of point-and-click adventures. Also, the 10 second music loop gets boring and annoying really fast. On the plus side, the graphics were pretty good.
While it's a fairly common ideological concept, the tree of life figure probably first appeared in chinese culture ~1200 years before Christ was born. The Old Testimate mentions the tree of life as bestowing partial immortality upon Adam and Eve. Yggdrasil and the entirety of the Norse religion didn't get going really until at least 1000 AD. And roughly 2000 years after Christ was born, it was featured in DOTA.
I'd say the difficulty ramps up pretty fast for anyone unfamiliar with picross games, but once you get a hang of it they go by pretty easy with a few exceptions. Pretty solid effort, wouldn't mind to see some badges, except for the fact that the game is so easily cheatable via guides.
Man, you really outdid yourself. I've been following you since this is a cry for help first went up, and I think this might be my favorite art in a game yet. The aquatic world was really great in depth and feel.
The bug where it freezes up when the large orange structures start to appear seem to be a problem with Google Chrome. I ran it in Firefox and it works just fine...
I'm a big fan of the teleporter. Some people think it's useless, but if you're in the middle of some crap and 2 blues are about to jump you or whatnot, a teleport out of there will help tons. You just have to be careful of things like making sure there isn't acid on the ground by the transporter. This and the repulsor kind of serve similar functions, although I'm a bit partial to the teleporter.
It's disappointing that of 110 awards, there are none for doing objectives in hardcore mode. I was playing in it for the longest time thinking I'd get some awards out of the way... kinda lame I think.
