I REALLY like the start of the music! I just don't like the transition into the faster , uplifting part. The transition back into the misterious part is nice.
The expertise point system is a bit underwhelming. Sure it needs times, but it has no interaction. No way of speeding it up. I would suggest make the merges needed lower.
Atm it is 9000 merges for tier 4 ( 10 EP -> 900merges/ep) and i assume 19000 merges for T5. (15 => 1266m/ep )EP.
T1 has 500m/ep . T2 also 500m/ep and T3 666m/ep. I have about 3600 merges per hour. So make roughly 4 ep per hour if i T4 everything. But only till 250 because then merges get slow. Assuming linear costs, this is enough ep for almost every upgrade.
And That only needs 26 days to complete! Wow. If i permanently speed up the time its only 10.4 days!. If i manually fuse it could even be something like 5 days!
if I hadn't erased it you would have met some inconveniences with game mechanics. Now the game's a lot faster and probably all you have achieved then you would achieve in ~1h now.
I'm really sorry for erasing the save files.
I am stuck. I just unlocked cleaning drones and created them. But after that i unlocked nothing else. I just unlocked those resources but i can't get them and the drones do nothing.
The Graphic has a nice touch, You should just make those chests more visible i think. I personally have no problem with it, but it is really easy to think that this "thing" is not the chest. It is a bit strange if you have to guess on something of which you have no information about its appearance rate.
I like the music. tho adding 2 similar tracks would enahnce the quality. But i don't like the quest system. It as no point in calling it quests. It's because those quests are way to repetetive. It is a basically just a bonus bar that rewards you for every X clicks or Y chests. You don't need a fancy quest text to deliver this type of game mechanic
I will think about adding music. All in all, there are really small group of players that ever will hear the soundtrack. Quests.. I need to rethink it once more and see what will I end up with.
Could you pls some level skipp mechanic? I like platformers but every time i have to play every single level. I feel so bored on the first 50% of the time just to reach those last levels that are challenging. I just want a challenge. And i dont want to play boring levels to get to the challenge.
I think that the upgrades are unbalanced. The energy and the splash one are very op (tho the energy one is good alone while the splash one is only op in combination with energy). The defense one is very bad because taking shield damages still reduces the coins you get. On the last floor it is good again tho (but still worse than the rest).
I dont like the cliffhanger =( Why tell us that "something happened" if the game ends. Giuve us at least a little bit more ionformation on what happened. This gives a sense of conclusion.
How does lvl 15 work? I used the first crate to get to air current to the left. And it was a pain the ass to make the crate go there. If thats intended then its kinda bad gamedesign imo. Everything else on this game is rly nice. Simple/few mechanics but still many fun lvls.
It's impressive that you managed to reach the air-flow with the zombie! There is however a much less wonky solution to the level, no mid-air box shenanigans required ;)
Some QoL improvement. An easy way to improve the jump and move controll is to make the character shorter OR the jump height bigger. Because like this it feels very clunky to do these step jumps (from left to right with the only goal to ascend; for example on the big snake that is half on the upper right and upper left room )
For anyone who doesnt want to grind. Sell your weapons, then exist the armory (to the map screen) without sorting the items. Go to armory again and your weapons arte there again.
