A fun game series and a fun game, although this one has many, many errors in English, unlike the others. Did you change your team translator? I would go back to the old one.
.. That would be me, since the very first game! :) English is not my language, but I've studied it a lot and I can *usually* use it well. Did you notice any grammar mistake, or did I mispell some words? Either case, I'll try to be much more careful next time
Good news: You can hold down "up" and click the first enemy, then press "R," and repeat this for about 2 minutes to get the BOTD. No wasting time trying to play this unplayable game needed.
A couple of UX options are needed: Display of how many chests total you've collected; display of how many enemies are left when adventuring; and generally better inventory management in order to sort and to see what consumables can be used. Other than the difficult UX though it's a fun and balanced, and decently polished, game.
Fun game, decent strategy. No way to restart a level and you have to start the ENTIRE game over if you get stuck? Must be an oversight, but it's a pretty bad one, please fix.
Not being able to switch between skills any way except with the mouse makes most of them very difficult to use, especially because clicking on the lower half of the screen frequently changes them when you least expect it to.
The new version of the game, with the badges included, *should* use the same savefile as the old version. I'm sorry if that didn't happen, there might be various reasons. Forgive the inconvenience!
Fun and well made game. I like the loyalty to the classic concepts, but no permanent progress is a little bit of a dated concept for good reason. I would at least appreciate high scores, if not some kind of incremental permanent bonus for spending hours delving only to be killed in a mundane fashion.
My main quibbles are with the bonus weapon locking options (key to being powerful at the top levels). The "lock weapon" button should turn itself off when your current bonus weapon runs out (or you spend some time missing bonuses because you're locked onto nothingness); and the lock button should turn itself off when you get one of the negative bonus items that erase your bonus weapon too.
Not sure how to feel about no-diagonals. It's a bit unfair that Minesweeper is the only reason that's confusing, but it just is. Nonetheless the later complex levels with complex hints are pretty darn interesting. Overall a fun game for sure.
Ah - I have found the lock button. :) Actually it makes the game too easy! But that's not a bad thing; one can play without it. Fun little game, I enjoyed getting all three badges!
