@Sakgeres: regretfully "helping" with trees, weeds or stones doesnt clear any of it. it just provides the islands owner with wood or shells

The quests are completable once you have meerkats unlocked, but much easier after completing colossus.

IF you know what you arte doing, you can get the BotD in a few hours by using level up energy. but it's better to start a day early and have some hours or a night for regeneration
fyi azula, it'll take a few days after event start to compile the data, so far I'm not aware of any way to know in advance. but check the comments, discord andor wiki and you'll know when it's there

you can access the ghost house by going to festival island and clicking pavillon III, pavillon I and pavillon II in that order. Be aware that the event requires HUGE amounts of energy and lots of ressources with minor rewards. Events in this game are designed for bored high end players.

@oskar: iirc one of the first quests tells you to open the workshop with the button on the LEFT. which actually cost me some confusion and at least 3 seconds more to find it XD
just dont feed the high reputation's players animals, if you dont have the food. those always have some trees standing around you can chop if no crops/palms available
