If you do not have garlic yet, the event is worth it. it does consume a good amount of energy and time though, as is usual for events. So make sure you dont burn out.

there is 11 quest. wiki page hgas the reward, and will get more content on weekend. stick to stuff that is needed for quests, if you wanna do things beforehand
yeah, the mosaic pathes are the only source of key moulds. only nice thing is you get a bit of rep in the process. hot ore is the better source for paths, but if you run out, booming holes also have them

main quests require reputation every now and again, as does traveling to other islands later on. I'm currently stuck on the blow the large wall (behind ancient city) quest, because it needs 5400 reputation
@Palzman: check your quests. if you completed them all, you should have a faberge egg in crown inventory part, and are done. harvest easter egg baskets and windmills for profit

it's not secret. once you upgrade the workshop, you can go to hawaii, buy a travelling pod in the shop and use that to go there.
the main reward for it is only available to players with the bridge restored, though you can harvest the mango tree, and whatever else you like. (move mango tree)
@Palzmann: on kongregate it's not possible to get to that island. event islands always appear on the map, even for events only on the latvian server, like the winter cup right now.
