Ahhhh, oops - I hadn't asked the Jeweler where he was. I guess by the time I went to talk to him, I had already cluttered up the dialogue screen and missed that option!
Huh, I ended with 23/26 points. When I checked the walkthrough, it seems that the ashtray should have had a clue, but I never found anything there. How odd :(
I feel like the armour is the best buff, it certainly helps you last more rounds than the weapon. I can't tell how it compares to the traps or the potion though.
Game finishes when you build on every square and get all the upgrades (see top right panel). Sadly the winscreen obscured my view, I will try to send you a screenshot dev :(
Doh, even though I've used command prompt before I kept putting the parameters inside the brackets (because I'm used to <> or "this" markings I didn't realise what it meant). You're supposed to just replace the whole thing. Don't write the brackets...
The amount of moon logic to get the claws and open the smithy (except it calls itself a forge) is astounding, so here it is: first, shift to cat form, then get the dog to join you; next, clear the basement to the bottom left. The amount of unhelpful and unclear dialogue is incredible.
Noooo! I went for the tech win as a mining city, but ended up getting the resources for a magic win first and locking myself out. Well, time for a third try then :)
Also, if you happen to go OOM on Sepitus, it's not obvious but you can hit the mana gem. It will 'undo' the damage and heal the boss for the normal amount of damage, but you will get 10 mana per hit back.
Don't know if this is progression spoiler, but for Solaria/Lunara you want to hit the one with the -20% debuff -- so start with the one on the right (Lunara) and switch to the left when the clock in the top of the screen goes to Night.
Damn, that was pretty hard but mostly in a good way. I think I had the most trouble trying to find the colour items, but once I realised I could mix them it was simple enough. Although embarassingly I kept trying to use the wind on the fire instead of the geyser and looking for places to dig there too... :(
Glad you had fun. Air mostly just feeds fire, while water kills it. It's another fine example of the gnomes' cooperation - one creates water so that another one can use it to extinguish the flames.
I spent so much time wandering about the cave before realising there's a lightswitch on the left of the entrance that shows you what's moving with the levers ;-;
Oh -- and coal turbines take two hours to wind up from zero, if you watch the graph. So that typically means you should turn them around 6am to prepare for the big rise at 8am; and if you're using solar spam during the day, you need to fire up from 1500-1600 to be ready as solar cuts out and demand peaks at 1900.
I swear these missions look like the ones a few months ago... Also, why is everyone so obsessed with times? Isn't there something to be said for killing off creeper for the sake of it?
Thanks!
