Do you really think I'm going to spend my time waiting for an energy timer to refill, or give money for a "find the pair" puzzle game? Please be serious. Besides, you say you have a team of 30 people or so working on this game. I think you would need at most 3 people to produce such a simple game (code + graphics). The 27 remaining people are the marketing team. They only exist to put paying content in the game, to justify their salary. It's like a snake biting its tail: more premium stuff > more marketing guys > more money needed > more premium stuff > etc. The original game idea was not the smartest nor the most original one, but it was amusing. The marketing guys are trying to put "social" elements in the game (pvp, ...), not to mention the energy system. That's just inappropriate, ridiculous and ruining the fun of the original concept. I would have given a few bucks to the devs (ie: the 3 or so coders and designers) but there is no way I'm giving any cent to the marketing team.
You are just wrong. Imagine for a second, that original Doodle game has four sequells (Doodle Devil, Doodle Kingdom, Doodle Creatures, Doodle Farm) and each of them (including DG) are launched on a huge amount of platforms and markets (there are just biggest ones: iPhones and iPads, Android devices, Windows Phone and Windows 8, Amazon, Nook, Facebook, Kong and tons other flash-portals, HTML5-version and even J2ME and Blackberry) - do you really think, that all these builds can be supported by 3 developers? You would not believe me, but we even have not a marketing team - people just love to play our games, so there is no need in agressive marketing. You don't want to pay us a cent, you just want all this for free, okay, it's your right and we respect it. But please, don't blame us for what you just do not understand.
I had about 10030041937261459456 money when suddently my account went negative. I guess 64 bits wasnt enough either... you ever heard about doubles or, even better, array of integers? ;-)
Hello there, this is still an alpha. In the update I will post soon money will have a cap and it will be possible to turn it into a new kind of currency for an even longer experience. Furthermore many mechanics of the game will be nerfed so it won't be as easy to reach end game content as it is now.
This crap is as stupid as your average idle/clickfest "game" can get. What makes it really special in that regard is the fact that this one has paying content. Yes, you read well. They dared putting premim content in a stupid idle game. Since you probably dont want to give them any $ and in case you REALLY want to see what the full achievement screen look like, you can watch this: http://prntscr.com/6id1fu I did not bother with the duration achievement since that would have been too obvious ;->
Lol @ retards crying about graphics... cant you read the name of the game? Oh wait... if you cannot read, no wonder you cant figure ASCII art either. Joke apart, I really liked the game. Rated 5/5.
Hmm... that's a colorful cashgrab at least. It's pretty boring, there is nothing to do except clicking where the shinny arrow tells you. Ah, and putting your credit card number of course. Rated 1/5
