Actually, the lack of reporting on commander level advancement is a glitch. If you go to the "statistics" screen (tab at top far left) you will see the required points for the levels beyond level 24.
It appears that whilst many things were fixed and/or added, the very vital 1TP gain per wave has been removed in the "Last Stand" alternate scenario. Nice to start with a bunch of TP but without running TP there's is little hope of even keeping pace with the game at later levels. Please restore running TP, thanks!
does anyone know how many secret levels there are total in the game? I found two so far, 1 before 1st boss level and 1 before the 2nd. There looks to be spaces in the middle of every visible cluster of levels but even after replaying many of them and improving score considerably I havent unlocked any more than 2 before the 2nd boss.
Riflemen and motorcycles do far too much damage to a tank in the final assault. Sorry but those numbers should drastically scaled down (at least by 10-15 points per hit) to balance this game.
Thanks for that explanation. I seem however to have discovered quite a favourable glitch and am not sure if its only with my game or a common (or reproducable) thing. It goes like this....
After freeing two planets completely of abyss, I decided to go trade in my horde of hunter points for xp since i have 10 in everything now (magic/strength/stamina training). Before I dropped down to the Vergilius RTF base I was level 29 with 2900 hp and around 290 magic. Normal for level. After exchanging around 17,000 hunter points for an equal amount of hp, rbinging me to what i figured would level 31 or so, I came back to the main game to find my character now has 20K health and 1099 magic. lol. he hits for about 2500-3000+ damage per hit now and not even bosses can last a round lol. I guess I found the secret to unlock invincible mode. ;)
i seem to have hit a block in my game progress. I have to go rid all the sectors of Abyss agents but many panet sectors still have no way to reach them and even those I can reach where it still has a danger level, I find no abyss, only the local monsters.
What am i missing here?
Hmm another glitch found. After completing the game, should you continue to play past the final boss, you cannot enter the Ruins of Ag'mar again even though you have the key. Very odd.
I'm curious whether anyone else has tkane the time and made the grind to level their characters up to level 30 or higher? This can be done after the end boss by just going back to Ice Vault and fighting Team Ultima (the guys you defeated to get #1 arena ranking) again and again. Eventually each character can wipe out these opponents 1,2,3 so its easy to level up.
As xp for killing them dwindles (as you get closer to level 30) it does take more fights to level up but for some, like me, mindless late night repetition is tolerable. lol.
There's also a health glitch. When switching amongst the three characters to max out their health before a battle, one of them (usually the middle guy (Robert)) constantly reverts back to his damaged state even if he's just taken health potions (and hasn't been subsequently attacked yet).
Please fix this glitch. thanks!
One thing this game needs is some indicator of the evolving bonus of Lethal's sword as you find the orbs and it upgrades. I don't think it stays at only +50 (starting bonus) throughout the game.
there are two ruins north of Ice Vault. One is one space north of Ice Vault then to the right one or two screens, and the Ruins of Fate themselves are due north a few screens (I think three screens).
Getting into either of those ruins is easy, just walk in and be prepared for battle. It's the ruins of ag'mar that require a special key(orb) to enter.
IIRC, there are two power crystals in the ruins of fate which will up Lethal's armour and sword, so get em as soon as you can survive the Ice Elemental/Wolfman/Bandit combo onslaughts that you will face in that region.
