Ok, found another glitch. Apparently if you defeat the final boss in the ruins of ag'mar and continue on in extended mode (or whatever it is) the trash can in Ice Vault is no longer there and you cannot complete the teddy bear quest.
I even went to Zyte Town and entered XXXX in the space under their trash can, clicked the trash can and....nothing. Went back to Ice Vault and still no trash can to be found.
Please fix. Thanks
Needs better screen cleanup after a game finishes. Often I have remaining ghost images of cells (usually purple ones) and/or bullet tracers left on the screen even when I start a new game.
not a very clearly explained instruction page. Ammo seems to run out completely after a few shots and doesnt automatically regenerate, canon is extremely hard to aim well since anything less than an 80 degree angle just shoots right off the screen. Needs serious tweaking but has potential.
I only wish this game didnt have to be so darn cpu intensive. I was on wave 116 in unlimited mode with over 130million points and all my lives when my browser just stopped responding and I was forced to use task manager to close it down. A real shame, I was definitely on track to beat the highest scores if it could have continued running . Oh well :(
I don't know if it's because of the latest update, but now the game lags terribly on level 9 anyways and I suspect on 10 at least as well if not any others.
heh, found another glitch. If you buy a AAA at the start and place it where your officer happens to be (right over him) then he vanishes. This is in the Last Stand optional scenario mind you, not sure about any other scenarios or the main game.
Melissa is definitely broken. my attacks have a 60% success rate and yet always fail at the crucial moment and then repeatedly so she can wipe me out. Hard is one thing, but after 20 attempts and every possible combo of attacks, its rather ridiculous.
Ok, I don't get it. I won in the arena in chapter 4 or so and was given a quest by the arena admins but i never got anything that would lead me to this quest. Then I fought again and was told, "what a shame, the mission was easy. Now you'll never be elite"... WTF??
How can one see one's missions after they are assigned to complete them? Please separate missions from arena fights or give an added section (like in the home office) so one can keep track of completed and uncompleted missions.
Thanks.
totally glitchy with the pointer in the options section. as soon as I click to lower volume, it just slides to full volume as soon as I move my pointer to "leave". Please fix.
doesnt matter how many mushrooms you build or how many combos you make or how much you upgrade. the stupid game doesnt calculate damage on enemies correctly and innevitably gives you waves that just wont die no matter how low in health they are. totally unbalanced game.
I dunno, I really think there is far too much arty and too consecutively wave after wave from the Germans. This doesn't have any correlation to the history of this battle and only seems designed to ensure that no matter how good a defense you make your best men will always be annihilated. Let's remember that although the German's threw all they had into this, that wasnt much compared to what the allies threw into it. The allies had TOTAL air superiority by day 2 and likely would have decimated any German artillery from the air, early on. If nothing else there should be a "bomb enemy artillery" strike option to silence those guns and keep bunkers intact.
Make this a game people can actually win perhaps. lol. oh well.
will the designers please fix the damn TP bug in the last stand game option, it really ruins any fun to have the bulk of your starting TP eliminated because of a falling crate.
While your at it, perhaps you could also fix the following issues:
1. waves survived in game are not accurately listed in the game results screen or the high score listings (every time Ive seen huge disparity in this).
2. machine gunners do not move gun or fire if even a smallish rock is directly in front (touching) of the gunnery position of a bunker where the gun barrel protrudes.
3. seriously lower the chance of of enemy bullets hitting a gunner inside a bunker. Its beyond ridiculous when even a basic enemy grunt can kill a gunner inside a bunker (and at distance). Enemy snipers should even only have like 10% chance tops to hit a gunner and all other enemy soldiers more like 1% chance. Heck isnt't the auto-fire enemy arty enough of a threat to bunkers without this easy assassination nonsense? Please.
deathmf, I learned the hard way that the signallers have no effectiveness whatsoever until they have at least 10-11 experience. When you first order a signaller and get him into a bunker (or whatever cover youre using) do as many sitreps as you can one after the other until he accumulates 10-11 experience. then youre air support calls will be more quickly calculated and answered.
"...place team members so arty wont kill them."
Aka, a bunker. Yet even this is worthless since the AI obviously knows exactly what X-Y coordinates all your bunkers are built on and just send spinpoint accurate shells sooner and sooner in the game the higher rank you get. Its not fun to have a decent strat obliterated by a cheating AI early on in the game. sorry. A game is supposed to offer players some sense of accomplishment (dare say even a "win") but getting trashed by completely absurd enemy accuracy either on the ground or by air doesn't suffice for either. Reminder here folks, the Germans got trounced, not the other way round.
