"...along with adding Tiger tanks and V1 rockets."
Well then I hope they will make the player tanks capable of actually destroying more than walking ground troops, especially with its main canon (which should be firing constantly when enemy vehicles appear, as it currently hardly ever does).
and you could stop slighting people for legitimate gripes about a game which has enormous potential if the designers would just fix the glitches and balance it out a bit. No reason why any number of strategies shouldnt work equally well.
A major gripe and one that defies all intuitive legitimacy is gunners getting shot IN BUNKERS. Sorry but youd need to be right in front of the gunner's slot to even have a hope of hitting a real gunner in a bunker. This game kills gunners far too easily. Please fix ffs!
"even though the enemy is tougher, so is our guys too. A tank shot my bunker and one guy in it was still standing..."
I'd beg to differ. One guy standing is small solace in the face of galring overwhelming superiority of the Germans in this game. If German artillery were as accurate as this game makes out, they wouldve won the bloody battle and probably the war too.
Some further bugs (bought bunkers suddenly disappear for no reason leaving all men inside exposed and forcing further expenditure to replace bunker; Motorcycle units are NOT easier to kill, they ride right on through gunner hail and spec op point blank fire. Nonsense!
German artillery should be far more inaccurate and far later in the game as should German tank appearances. This game could be so much better than it is with just some balancing and more intuitive behaviour from player units (like following orders when they are issued, not 5 minutes later).
And to make matters worse, now it seems that all the TP you start with in the "Last Stand" scenario just vanishes down to 20 TP as you are trying to spend it. Will the designers PLEASE fix this game to be even remotely fair to players? I'd balance this game out perfectly if I had any knowledge of programming, so please come on and fix the bugs and overt cheating of the AI. Thanks
the most annoying thing about this game is that the wave sign in the top left corner blocks any view of the enemies in that corner which can make calculating where to be to avoid damage all the more difficult. could the designer please not clutter the screen with anything other than the player's commando and the enemies so one can see the whole field of battle clearly. Thanks! :)
Can anyone tell me how to end the game with a victory? ive been playing two days with a strat that works well for staying put but it never ends even after something like 40 hours of play. if i advance do i keep all my units ive already bought? what about my aaa canons, do they need to go with everyone in the advance or do i leave them behind? so many unanswered questions lol.
yes the game is rubbish. no way near enough points to spend to get a fighting chance before the enemy sends the first plane and kills all your units, let alone the superhuman grenade hurling of the enemy. Where the f*ck are the grenades for the player's troops?? Needs balancing something fierce.
Ive played this game in real life many times and for sure this game is rigged in favour of the computer, no dice roll as consistently well for anyone as they do for the cpu opponent, especially in realist mode. completely contrary to the law of averages.
I think people are too hard on this game. Sure its a bit cutesy but the theme is a welcome departure from the spate of recent tower defense, zombie shoot-em's and other militaristic-themed games. Nice graphics too, if somewhat small for the visually impaired. Good job!
I tried following the butterfly thingies but all i saw was more space and unlandable asteroids. Id have to see it done in a walkthrough before i waste another 20 minutes trying to figure it out on my own.
Ok sorry but have spent last 15 minutes just swinging from whatever those asteroid thingies are and cant find anyway to land on any of them. How does this game work beyond swinging around??
