Dear lord, did they bribe Kongregate to get this POS badges? Making flour and sharpening blades are less grindy than this. The only thing I can think of as being worse from a good series is Epic Saga. At least you aren't quite as annoyingly intrusive with the demands for money as that.
Seems we start on the Eastern edge of the infected zone. If only it had occurred to them to drive East, this game would have been really short. They even know that they are heading into the worst areas, yet still they go forward.
@incursioner: That is a real phenomenon known as fratricide, where the debris of an explosion triggers more explosions(especially among groups of missiles).
I find the concept of this game to be every bit as offensive as I'm sure the creator intended. I prefer to avoid profanity in my daily life, though I acknowledge that it has its time and place. On a supposedly family friendly site is not one of those places. Worse than the game getting badges in the first place, which really annoyed me given the quality of the game, was it being given the honor of badge of the day, meaning every time I went to the home page or achievement pages, I was forced to see it again. Everybody poops. That doesn't mean I want it rubbed all over my monitor.
The game has potential, but being, as far as I can tell, the only person playing at all as of the time I post this, doesn't exactly encourage me to continue to play. While it is most likely just a matter of when i was on, that is enough to drive me away when added to the horribly skewed need for kreds to play--again, as it seems from starting the game. I'd ask other players their opinions, but the chat room is completely empty.
Please don't have such a noisy introduction before a mute option is available. I did not appreciate the music suddenly blaring out of my speakers at much greater volume than the last thing I had been listening to.
I'd give it a five if not for the last zone. Hunting down small, moving items that actively hide from you and may, at any time, be floating somewhere where you've just searched... not fun.
Often, I click a type of bonus(such as damage) and it gives me a different type of bonus(such as special). This glitch makes getting pairs, much less the pair I want, annoyingly difficult.
Solutions to each level are far from intuitive, which combines with the maddeningly slow progression you have to watch over and over to figure out how to beat a level to take this game from a 4/5 down to a 2/5. I'm not even going to finish it at this point.
After enough playthroughs, you can get a perfect score, and where would America be without cheating on their IQ tests? Where? How am I supposed to know, I cheated on my IQ test!? Xp
Ho to find the special characters: Quinsforth the Lancer: Support the lancers in the polearms tournament.
Tybolt the Spearman: Support the spearmen in the polearms tournament.
Adela the Enchantress: Beat the capital league without losing a single match. Look for her in the mountains.
Corthello the Cleric: Get defeated an X number of times. You'll get a event to look for him in the village.
Iruine the Ranger: The event triggers somewhere in the second year. Recruit him in the forest.
Greg the Hunter: Beat all the Kongregate exclusive quests, then recruit him in the forest.
Christable the Thief: Gather and save a lot of gold, at least 100k and above. Recruit her in the city.
Got stuck on the final question because the option I was supposed to pick was invisible--but only on one off the tree drop downs. No wonder that final line refused to make any sense.
