Really enjoyed it, I'm surprised the rating is so low. The storytelling was wonderful, and the gameplay was fun enough for what it needed to be. Having to redo the game to get another ending would be a bit much, but I had a great time while it lasted.
It feels rather clunky with such slow animations and the inability to take actions until animations finish. With many great ccgs on the market, this game just doesn't stand out in its current state.
The new matchmaking system feels so boring to play. Just keep getting matched against the same person over and over, why even change it in the first place when the game worked fine before all of the bots and matchmaking changes?
After completing the first tutorial quest, the game crashed - when I reopen it, it brings me back to the start of the tutorial. However, when it reaches that first quest it gets stuck since I've already completed the quest, and will not allow me to do anything.
Unfortunately the game becomes nearly unplayable with bounce 7 and higher, since you can no longer see what's on the ground until it's too late to react. Please increase the camera zoom at higher speeds/bounce levels so that the game stays playable later on.
After the first 10 or so pinatas, I started getting "video not available" errors, which made the pinatas impossible to open. Surely there's a better way than locking progress behind videos that might not even load?
I binged played this game since it was released, earning every achievement except the play x days/100%/cheater ones... and even after all that, the game is still fun! This really is a prime example of a sequel done right - between the tremendous amount of content, the option to sell for full price, and all of the customization options, the game deserves its spot as one of the best rated games on kong. Keep up the amazing dev work!
Kudos on making an update that solved pretty much every complaint by players and even added new features on top of that - it's rare to see a dev that cares so much about making a game that the players will love, and you've definitely earned a 5/5 for it in my books.
Thanks, yoshifuzz!I am doing my best to keep my players having fun with this game! Please, feel free to pm me anytime you want to give me suggestions or critics.I hope you and everyone enjoy the next updates! Thanks for playing, see ya.Ghost Phoenix team.
Surprisingly fun. While the game does seem too dark and the aim is a bit off of the cursor as others have said, I certainly like the concept. The choice between buying new weapons or upgrading the ones you already have makes the progression feel a lot more engaging, and the bosses make for a nice break from the rest of the game. It'd be nice to see more goals in the survival stages - once you get 3 mega kills or reach wave 25, whichever your challenge was, there's little reason to keep going. Either making the enemies at higher waves drop more or adding in bonuses rewards based on what wave was reached would add some incentive to keep playing. Additionally, the coin/exp magnet should probably be a permanent upgrade rather than a pickup - without it, there are many times where it's simply impossible to backtrack to collect dropped loot. Regardless of the things that could be improved, you've made a solid game - keep it up!
This is my favorite comment until now. Thanks for your attention, man! :D
I am with a big list right now and I could not be happier with your suggestions!Be sure:your comments are being studied and applied in the game!I really hope you enjoy this and the next releases of the game, coming as fast as possible! Again, thanks for playing and for your suggestions.Hope see ya here soon, man!
I don't usually like idle games, but I like this one. It's just so fully featured, and the dev makes it very clear that they care about the players. A step above the rest.
Looks like a great way to use kongpanions, thanks for making this! If possible, the options to toggle shiny crowns off/use multiple kongpanions in a single avatar would be nice ways to add some extra variety.
I'm a bit curious as to why some of the content is locked as premium content that is not possible to buy on kongregate - it redirects us to armor games. I'd like to support you here since I loved the first sentry knight game, but that doesn't even seem to be possible.
Unfortunately, it's a licensing issue with ArmorGames. Also, Kongregate does not allow in-game purchasing to be done that isn't related to Kongregate itself.
Both this and a dance of fire and ice are absolutely phenomenal games - I'm sure many of us would really love to see both of these fleshed out with more content some day, keep up the great dev work!
hey thank you. It would be my dream to be able to make rhythm games full-time, yet it's a risky venture that I am still evaluating the feasibility of. I have got more rhythm game ideas than I can count scribbled in my book, both for separate games, and ideas for Rhythm Doctor and ADOFAI, and I'm always itching to implement another one of them whenever I have the time. And if there's anything that lets me know they're appreciated, it's when I read comments like yours. Thanks :)
Great concept and solid graphics held back by terrible controls and high prices. Hopefully some changes are made before this game goes live so that most players don't quit within the first hour.
@polyglot There are more ways to get uncut dice than just chests. Uncuts also come from drops, pvp, and quests. Don't waste uncuts on stamina, as chests only give shards/items/coins/rarely uncuts which can all drop normally from enemies. Instead save your uncuts for the 30 dice monster hunter so that you can get some of the top tier monsters on your team.
