Very clever sliding block game with an added aspect of some pieces melting others and different pieces having different movement types! I really liked this - it made me think a bit, but wasn't too hard to work out in a few tries on each level. Thirty levels is a nice length - long enough to feel like it has some substance. Thanks for an enjoyable game!
Cute game once I started using the arrow keys! The "CLICK ON RIGHT POSITION" made me think I needed to use the mouse - that nearly made me give up!
Lesson to others: use the arrow keys!
NIce little game! The movements are great - smooth and intuitive. I'd like to see a way to figure out where to go - there are a few levels that you have to just jump (and likely die) to find out where the next landing point will be. Maybe a way to take a quick glimpse of the overall shape of the level or a 'radar' that can tell you that there's a place to land. Overall, though, super well done for a 1 day build!
Enjoying this a lot! Is there any way to choose levels? I'd like to go back and pick up a star I missed, but it seems the only way to do that is to start over completely.
If there are no cache blockers, you can return to the menu at any time and select a level on the next screen ;} The game saves whenever you finish a level.
Good game! I thought it looked too much like the Submachine basement, but the game play was enjoyable. I had to restart to finish as the clue with the 6 colorful dots in room 6 disappears after it's looked at. Overall, fun.
This is a much nicer version of this game! The tutorial helps a lot. **If you get stuck on an "impossible" torch, go back and replay the previous levels - the mechanics are there, if not obvious!** Quite a challenge
I"ve made it to level 10 so far and I'm enjoying the game.
Clarification I would have liked would be that the torches aren't just things that you need to light, but also checkpoints. Also, hitting (R) isn't so much a reset (of the level) - it's more of a transport to your most recently lit torch (checkpoint), **even if you lit it by hitting it with an arrow **
More instruction in game would help. I see in the instructions that I should be able to teleport to my arrow in "teleportable terrain", but this isn't defined before I need it in the third level where the two pink force fields trap me at the starting area - and I don't seem to be able to transport with "F" anyway.
Being able to zoom in a bit farther on the action would also be nice. At least on the first few levels the action area is pretty small in the middle of a large dark background.n (Playing on Chrome)
Lastly, would it be possible to use w or the up arrow for jumping? Those are always my first instinct and shifting to using the space key feels less intuitive.
I hope you can get this going, it looks like a good game and I really enjoy puzzle platformers!
Thanks for the super detailed feedback!
As for what you were saying:
-As for the teleport being confusing, We will make it a little bit more intuitive and understandable
-As for getting stuck - You can't get stuck anywhere unless you got clipped under the ground, try to figure it out :)
-The zoom is a good suggestion, yet there is a technical difficulty with it, but we will look into it.
- We will add W and Arrow up as jump, Thanks for the heads-up!
Look out for upcoming updates :)
Well, the "reload after each level works until the end of world 2. Try to reload after level 20 to procede to "The Cave" results in no availble level 21. Enjoyed the first 2/3 of the game - looking forward to the fix so I can finish it!
At the end of each level, the screen blacks out. Reloading the game works to continue - the game does remember that you finished the last level. Seems fun so far!
Interesting game. It would be much more playable with a reset option on each level and a small diagram of either the starting or goal arrangement. Even as early as the 3rd or 4th level, I forget what circles need to be dark and light.
