I would really love an expansion of or sequel to this game, with a higher level cap and more levels to play. Oh, and uses for gold once fully upgraded.
We're getting a lot of feedback on the gold. I reduced the amount gained throughout each world by 50% in yesterday's update but that didn't seem to affect much. We're looking into adding more Blacksmith upgrades at the moment!
I think the short range weapon upgrades should replace your basic boxing glove, since as it stands right now getting them just makes you get the good weapons less.
Just so everyone knows: When your character are set to defense, the melee characters DO fight, they just have no combat animation during defense. But when a zombie hits them they hit back if they can (because even melee weapons have an attack speed)
Seriously, the infestation mechanic is way too powerful. WITH infestation resistance there is a good chance that a single hit by an infestation pod will instantly turn a unit/building. Without it it's, what, 100% chance (I bought infest resist before a single infestation mission so I don't know for sure). It should be brought down a little; I know it's meant to be challenging but it's a crapshoot, more about luck than planning and skill.
I wish I could keep a handful of backup cards that aren't in my active deck, so I could store units that aren't useful in current army but would be in a different army I want to make.
If you were to make a bigger, non-flash version of this game and sell it, I would buy it. And if you did, you could always submit it to Project Greenlight on Steam to try to get it sold there. Just wanted to throw that out there to the developers. Love the game, 5/5 and favorited :)
I think that the unique monkeys from the deluxe version (engineer and bloonchipper) should be added to this as secret agents; They'd be upgradeable up to rank 3 normal, and up to rank 4 pro. That way we could use them in flash, but only deluxe would have them buildable without spending monkey money on each one.
Really need to add in a scrollbar for Kongregate version, rather than attempting to rescale the game window over and over again, which rarely works out to the actual size needed. Makes shopping and selling especially difficult.
maybe because it's not just dialogue, it's a game scene, where objects are moving and interacting with each other (for example, main hero picks up the powerup, rocket hits ufo), it just can't be simply skipped. so some players understand that, while others don't...
Also, I find the way negative comments about the game seem to get consistently voted down, even highly accurate descriptions of a complaint about a gameplay feature, highly suspicious.
The "plot" in this is like something a pre-teen anarchist would come up with during civics class. Government, being evil, summons evil aliens to attack Earth (and themselves) for.... what? The game seems to imply the government and military are in on the alien invasion, like they don't have families and are one big uniform block of stupid evil.
