FINAL BOSS ADVICE: The final boss is the one that looks like a flying saucer bomber, only bigger. Shoot constantly at the boss with one tank, press d to use a powerup, wait for it to be finished, then use the next (as some powerups overwrite the use of previous ones). Totally ignore everything apart from the boss. Just hold down fire.
It's a good game, but a little weird with the cursor. Removing the cursor and tweaking the collisions and making picking up a star more obvious would make this a great game!
I especially love how you have to spend hours getting all the way through the game before discovering you aren't powerful enough to continue because you didn't earn/spend money in some particular way nearer the beginning.
159357's advice is great. Just spend one point on shield per level and upgrade turret to exactly 80. Then put everything else in shield. The first couple of levels are hard but about level 5 you can just hold down a direction key (I like up and right) and fire sweepingly behind you. For final boss, stand on the spot and fire towards it, if it comes at you move at a right angle to it, directly not away from it.
OK. The way to get is to pick up cars and hold them just under the nest. You don't need to drop them until everyone is underneath (or they'll get damaged and drop). Don't bother picking up any civilians, and only pick up police/swat if there's no car on the screen. On level 9 try to follow the same approx strategy, but be ready to drop anything nd drag tanks. I didn't work out what to do tothe helicopter, it seemed immune then suddenly died for no reason. I got the badge without paying any attention to it. I hope this is helpful!
I can't get past level 8 or so. I have full health but then it suddenly says "your babies died". I can *see* through the game over screen that I still have health. Very confused.
The person who made this game needs to be locked in a cupboard and prevented from writing games ever again. Not only is is it not a good concept, the gameplay can only be described as boring; never fun. The worst thing is the fact that on my laptop it's almost unplayable. The author of the game has kindly removed the quality settings and added sparkly effects to everything that you can't turn off, and in the particular the black stuff lags me to hell. If I go through black stuff while flying, it doesn't matter how frantically I click, I instantly fall to my death.
There's almost no luck involved. I can get >100 seconds every time. You just need to immediately lean in the direction any new stuff comes, unless it's a spike ball and you're spikeless; or a shrink ball. Maybe at the beginning if you don't get any shrink balls (or get forced into getting grow balls) - and that almost never happens.
After 120 seconds it gets ridiculously hard, but before that, just silly. This is among the easiest badges on the site.
I like the easy control system, it makes this game playable on my laptop! Also, I found the Z and X keys pointless. I never used them once (and I got all the badges).
Once you have enough skill points for Ultimate Mastery every single map becomes hilariously easy. Apply the same old 'spam with rainbows of mages' formula
Because the enemies are moving so fast in the later level, they rarely have time to shoot. You should make them shoot a little faster, and definitely set the shoot limiter to a higher value to start with
Finally got the hard badge on map 1. Started with a tack shooter in the top left and a monkey in the bottom right-ish area, then after two more tack shooters built 5 or six rockets, then filled the first 5 good corners with 2/3 tack shooters, then a couple of rockets in the upper right. Saved money for tacks against the MOAB (no way it can be killed with just towers!), and once it broke into balloons, glued them so towers could do their job. :)
game not completable if you take out the bulb on level 3 then don't get the target in time. No way to succeed, fail, forfeit, go back to the menu... you just shoot at nothing forever or reload the page.
