New badge, old game, as part of Kongregate's new 10th Anniversary quest! It's pretty surreal to think that both Kongregate and Flipline were brand new companies back in 2006. We've both come a long way, but this game is still a classic. Enjoy!
If anyone is interested, you can now read a summary for the planned sequel in a Google Doc I link to in this forum thread here: http://www.kongregate.com/forums/5-the-arts/topics/687326-summary-of-reality-tunnels-a-graphic-novel-i-havent-actually-written-yet
Nine years later, I finally fixed this badge image to not be completely hideous. If you can't remember what it looked like before, it's because your brain is actively blocking out the memory of it.
Okay, a completion badge is live! I know it's a little late and pretty minimalist, but this game slipped through our badge-promotion cracks, and it definitely deserves a bit of extra attention. Major thanks to extherci for sharing his save file with me and suggesting the badge name! (He actually did more work creating this badge than I did...)
Badges are live! Yes, live today, in 2016. Newer games have been a bit slow lately, so it seemed like a good time to go back and add badges to a classic that never got any. Enjoy!
So, when I posted on the forums that I was going to add a new medium badge to Pel for the 5-Minute Games quest, what I really meant was that I'd be adding a new medium badge to Feed the King and not including Pel in this quest at all. So, yeah, sorry about the messaging/planning with that. My fault! But this game is awesome, and it needed to be a part of the 5-Minute Games quest, and the easy badge is trivial while the hard badge is pretty hard. And this game had room for one more badge anyway, so here it is -- enjoy!
Woo, badges are finally live! Designing these took a long time. The fourth badge was originally going to be a hard badge with some other stuff required, but I think these 4 medals are really the most fun, and not really that difficult either. Enjoy!
Badges are live! Figuring out badge images was really difficult for this game. But the rotated "ball power" upgrade icon totally looks like a C, right? Like, for credits? Right? Guys?
Badges are live! I didn't want to require anything too fancy for the medium, though this game has a lot of little hidden side-paths and such to explore. For the easy badge name, "Scout," like, a dog's name, GET IT?!?!
Hi everyone, apologies for the technical difficulties with this game, which was selected for tomorrow's badge of the day. In response to a number of complaints about loading issues, tomorrow's badge of the day has been changed to the easy badge in Burrito Bison. Apologies again for the problems and for the late notice, but the replacement badge is especially quick and easy in light of this.
Badge is live! Level 45 was giving me so much trouble that I almost made this a hard badge, but I realized that I was making it more difficult than it needed to be (I was trying to use the bouncy platform on the bottom). It's actually much easier if you release, then double-click right away to fling yourself STRAIGHT upward. Then, ON THE WAY DOWN, double-click either of the 2 nodes to fling yourself over to the right. You can click EITHER node, but the timing will be different. The first time I solved this, I was bouncing all over the place, but a simple solution is really no more complicated than release, fling upward, fall, double-click to fling right. I hope this helps -- the walkthrough video doesn't work for me.
Okay, this game deserves better than being stuck under judgment with a rating below 2.0, so it's getting a bit of Hot New Games exposure. Yes, this game is hard, starting at the second level. Keep two things in mind: First, there is a delay between when you can fire shots, but this doesn't necessarily mean you're out of ammo. Second, don't forget you can pick up weapons by right-clicking!
Update: Whoa, nice, up to a 3.9! I wasn't kidding about how low its rating was when I first put it in Hot New Games -- this was where it was after being on the site overnight, haha: http://tinyurl.com/jddpzvc
I asked the developer to upload this game to Kongregate, and so far it has 70 gameplays and 0 comments after 2 days, so I'm giving it a spot in Hot New Games to help it get out of judgment. Enjoy!
This game is really cool, and it would be a shame if it were overlooked, so I'm giving it a spot in Hot New Games to help it out of judgment. Please give it a chance before rating!
