Yay, badges are live! This is definitely the best game we've gotten on the site in a while. Major thanks to everyone on the forums who helped with badge task feedback and name suggestions! Anyone else is always free to participate in this process: http://www.kongregate.com/forums/1-kongregate/topics/380539-upcoming-badges?page=175
Since today is the official "Back to the Future" day, I just wanted to mention that, yes, this is indeed the inspiration for Future Todd wearing two ties. If only our fashion had progressed as much as we dreamed it would...
For everyone who's doing the Super Mario Maker challenge, the task in Exploit was changed for technical reasons from completing the tutorial to completing any challenge.
Badges are live! To reiterate a note in the badge description, if you've already completed these tasks, just visit the achievements page in-game to have Kongregate badges awarded retroactively. Cheers!
Completion badge is live! Finally, the whole series has badges now. I don't know how many people actually remember "Tales from the Crypt," but the deepest corners of my subconscious and life experiences are continually strip-mined in the ongoing challenge of coming up with new badge names.
Completion badge is live! Hard one this time, since this chapter is definitely more difficult than the others. If you already completed the game, you'll need to complete it again to earn the badge. Sorry! But at least this will give you a chance to play the tile sliding puzzle again!
Badges are live, but the easy badge has some messy data reporting. You'll probably need to earn more than 20 achievements to get it, even though I set the threshold at 10 (it seems to report a little less than half). We're working to get this fixed as soon as possible, but otherwise you can still earn the easy badge by just getting a few extra in-game achievements. Sorry about that!
Badge is live! Since I had to take these notes anyway, this might help with the comb part: B B | D D B B | #G A B D | B A #G A -- And while we're at it, here's a little hint for the glass part (sorry, I don't know the names of notes): Empty: two up 1/3 full: one up jagged 1/2 full: one down 2/3 full: two down | order: two down, one down, one up jagged, two up, two down
The badge is live! Usually for these types of puzzle games I specify that the badge difficulty is based on the assumption that you're not using a walkthrough... but... for this, I think it's probably still hard even WITH a walkthrough. So, good luck!
Hey guys, sorry about the issues with this game. I'd like to replace it with another game in the 2 quests it's in, but first I want to make sure that this won't break anything (we had a bug before where adding new games to old quests break things, and I'm not sure if it was ever fixed). So either this game will be removed entirely from its 2 quests or it'll be replaced with another game, depending on what our system will allow. I just need to do some testing first. If you really can't complete the quests because this game is blocking you, hang tight!
Badges are live! This game might not be finished, but what's here is still pretty fun. Creating a long RPG in Flash on your own without any funding is a huge undertaking -- just making something this big is still impressive, in my opinion.
Okay, so I totally messed up the easy badge criterion -- it's actually for remaining airborne for 2,000 milliseconds, not for reaching a height of 2,000 meters. Whoops! I just misinterpreted the API data. The description is changed/fixed now, but the actual badge task is exactly the same. Sorry for any confusion, but I hope this clears it up!
Many thanks for the cool badges!
