Guns used is just how many different TYPES of guns you've used. You only have to use a gun type for 1 single wave. If you keep reusing the same kind of gun type, that doesn't count, but you CAN go back to a previous campaign and experiment with new gun types there, as long as you beat one wave with a gun type it considers it used.
I know everyone loves a machine gun because it's easy, but I personally LOVE the heavy cannon. I can usually get it up to 100+ damage per shot near the end levels and one shot kill everything! And after practice, you can get really good with it.
I'm very impressed and excited at the possibility of what seems to be a legitimately educational game getting a 3.80ish rating on Kong. The developer did a great job here!
This game has nothing to do with Spore. Other than the fact that they both take place in a cellular setting, the similarities end there. It's like saying all pirate themed games are rip offs of some other pirate game.
Not to mention, many many other games did cellular stuff before Spore. And if you think any of Spore's gameplay other than the creator tools is innovative (such as the simplified RTS civilization stage), you're delusional.
@ptdgames: lolz, I love how you are holding ratings ransom until your demands are met. You even did it for the whiteboard tower defense game! I rate you 4 of 5. You can get 5 if all of your demands get met!
@geela: The game is not too hard if you go heavy, you just need to get some skills. I've watched 10 people other than myself dominate and win the game easily with the heavy tanks. I've done it many times and not even come close to regressing. The massive heavy tanks only take 1/3 of damage, have a bullet buster that knocks away enemy bullets, and on top of that do much more damage and can kill threating targets easily.
Ok, those of you who are saying the first one is better... no. It's not. Not by a long shot.
This one is faster, addresses all of the bugs with the first one, has much more content and upgrade states, choosable paths, many more weapons and enemies, map, pause, status updates, etc...
