Stage 1: Make 1 mushroom on the intersection. When you get the cash add 1 White Gem. Then level that mushroom up to lvl 5. Add 2 more White gems, Level up to level 6. Make another Mushroom across the intersection and repeat. Later you can chop the trees down and add one there. Only use level 6 Pure Whites until the last stage.
Hah HA! Beat lvl 10 with only 1 leak. Pure Shrooms. 10 around the first loop (4 whites not greens, 2 of everything else) 8 Along the bottom (1 of each rest White) Then 3 whites in the top left bend. Then a couple more around the exit, just whichever colors the mob was weak too.
I beat lvl 8 with just white shrooms, I noticed that packing them together wasn't as effective. I put 4-5 shrooms per area where they could hit the mobs twice. They worked with a few leaks. I still got gold even with only 5 hp left. I'm having trouble with 9 tho. Pure white isn't enuff. I imagine it's some balance of different color pure shrooms, but I haven't yet determined that.
Hmmm It seems that despite pure white having the highest damage per second it doesn't seem to be enough to handle level 9. I guess I'll try some splash slow and see if that makes a difference
The combinations thing is cool except that all of them are useless. Pure towers do about 3 times the damage as any combination. None of the stats are good enuff to make up for that.
Pure White Shrooms + Increased Round Time skill. That's all you need to beat this game. (The increased round time is the only way to get gold in the later levels)
The damage numbers for pure shrooms are terrible, white is the only option unless you like doing significantly less damage at lvl 6. These numbers aren't exactly what the game does, but compared to each other they are useful. Red - 4200, Blue - 4800, White - 6100, Yellow - 4100, Green - 3100. That takes into account attack speed. A pure shroom doesn't do less damage to anything and does twice as much damage to things that are weak to it. So even something weak to green takes more damage from a white one.. Plus lvl 5 shrooms do about 1/3 the damage of a lvl 6 so the only good non pure shrooms are is for the effects. In practice this might not be the case, but math-wise I feel like this game isn't as balance or thought out as it could be.
This game is so unrefined. It needs too much work. There should be a retry button, stages should be replayable. It's interesting but not really any good.
I pressed the quit button in one of the stages thinking it would send me back to the world map. Nope to the main menu! It doesn't autosave either.. All that for nothing.
If you don't care about saving the dumbasses just use the Magma floor thing and boost the fire abilty damage in the passive tab. Then just plant 2 magma things near the bottom of the screen and everything will just die into it. With the Fire damage increase it makes it last longer, I think mine last like 30 seconds or something, haven't looked in forever. I can get 6 of them on the screen at once.
For level 4. You need to get the line maybe a pixel away from the bottom curve in the S. Slightly closer that that period is. Use the zoom in feature... It's a PAIN in the ass..
For those of you not wanting to do the math or testing, The last 4 Levels: The yellow balls need to be these numbers. 2, 6, 11. Then 4, 8, 12. Then 1, 5, 9. Then 3, 7, 11.
