Tried to play this game 4 times. 2 of the 4 times I had the bug where a rock would spawn on me making it so I couldn't move. The other two times I covered nearly the entire map and never found the stairs, which leads me to believe they may have spawned in the middle of water or lava, or gotten buried soon after the level was created... I tried, but this game is just too harsh and not fun in the slightest to even try again.
Never do the "???" event without saving beforehand. If you get a bad outcome of it (robbed, abducted, etc) then just reload. Easy way to get lots of stats in a short time is just save/reload until you get the goddess one.
So, for ending 2, get 50k but NOT 70k. For ending 3 get 70k and have a "good relationship" whatever that means...? I think you have to have completed all of the dates (so they don't show up on weekends anymore). For ending 1, probably don't make the 50k... which I haven't done yet but could be accomplished by sleeping through the entire game. Ending 4 is probably the "best ending" which means you have to max all scores on the games, max all your stats, and complete all the events. Easiest way to max your stats is to get either int or cha maxed without worry about the other, since it can't go below 0. Then work the other one up to max while maintaining the other. G'luck and + rate if you found this helpful.
There's a bug where you can double-click actions and it will only take up 1 phase, but the text box wont go away unless you try to quit or perform another action, like saving.
Useful for gaining double stat points, but is also cheating...
What are the coins for? Where is the incentive to play a level over again? This game needs a buy-able buffs system so you can do something with the coins... a little bit too puzzle-esque for me and repetitive, but overall not a bad game.
A couple things I think could improve this game:
1 - When you die and respawn under an enemy, it should move your tank out from underneath the enemy so that way it doesn't instantly kill you again. This caused me to lose a couple times over being trapped underneath a boss and couldn't respawn.
2 - Each level should have a "replay" button so that way you can replay levels you thought were fun, interesting, exciting, profitable, etc. So you'd either have the choice to replay the level again, or to move on to the next level.
3 - After you beat the game you should be able to level select from any level.
4 – Boss rush mode. Simple, fun, should be timed so you can race to see how fast you can do it and compare scores with other people.
5- Lastly, this game should have a timed mode where you race to beat the game as fast as you can.
These options would give this game a lot of replayability.
My only gripe with this game is by the time you get bonus mode you've already gotten par on all the levels so it feels like a chore to re-re-redo them all for the 50th time to get the hard badge... I realized that it made the total gameplay time a lot longer, but "bonus mode" left a bad taste in my mouth. 4/5
Whoooo, this last level is a BLAST! Spending OVER AN HOUR having to make 4 PERFECT shots IN A ROW in order to get my stupid badge is SO MUCH FUN GUYS. I FRICKEN LOVE IMPOSSIBLE CHALLENGES.
On a side not, Dim's levels RUINED the game for me. I love this game, it's fun and interesting the way each castle built has a certain weakness... figure out the weakeness, win the level, right? But no... Dim's levels, you figure the weakness out and then try 600 times to actually do it PERFECT. 5/5 for the game, 2/5 for wasting over an hour of my life on ONE LEVEL.
Great game except there are just too many flaws with the combat system's execution. Levels get too trigger happy and your ship is too wide to dodge most bullets. There's far too many enemies on the screen a lot of the time, and the enemies that come up behind you are impossible to avoid unless you've played the level 10 times and know exactly where they are coming from OR sacrifice a weapon to be shooting behind you, which is very painstaking to do since there are just so many enemies on the screen coming at you.
Made it half way through the third world and decided the game was too frustrating/ grind happy.
Fix a few of the issues and I will give it another shot, until then, 2/5.
There is a bug in world 3 level 3 (?) where the little brown ships that show up beneath you can get stuck on top of your ship and cause you to be unable to finish the level because there are still enemies on the screen. They do not ever blow up or die, can't be hit with anything, and just stay on top of you perfectly the whole time.
A few suggestions:
1) The dragon needs a "magnet" ability that draws money and energy towards him that is upgradeable.
2) The dragon also needs the ability to upgrade the blue bar, so the power can be used for longer periods of time when full and the blue bar can fill itself multiple times (IE; upgrade the blue bar once and you can have 2 full bars in reserve, twice you can have 3 full bars etc.) Full bars could be represented by small blue orbs just above the blue bar. Also, the blue bar should be able to be upgradable so you start the level with 1/2/3/4 full bar(s).
Furthermore, I think the dragon's main shot should be changeable (like different weapons) so that he could either have a shot/spread like is currently in the game, or he could have all shots forward. He could also have lasers that would be weaker but would have no travel time, whereas the bullet/shots have to travel to hit.
TLDR; MORE UPGRADES FOR EVERYTHING.
Great game so far btw, 5/5!
Thanks for noticing! :)
