Just finished playing through and I must say, EBF just keeps getting better and better! EBF5 better not take another 3 years to come out! WE WANT MORE! 5/5 until the end of time!
Not a very satisfying ending... Just "Game over"? Lame. I wanted a little bit more than that! Half of the upgrades aren't even needed to win. Lame. Almost 4/5 but due to that ending, 3/5.
5/5 Easy game but a slight challenge at the very end. Took me like 20 tries to get the very last part until I got the hang on mid-jump maneuvering but after that I got it in no time. Great game just like all of Nitrome's games.
Easy game. Enjoyable. Too short. No ending cinema where the aliens flee and the good guys rejoice? Too bad. Needs more levels and an ending and it'll be a 5/5! For now, 4/5.
I don't even know what to think of this game. It seems to want to be a bubble pop clone but why new waves spawn and why the game ended are beyond me. There seems to be some rules to the game I don't understand, since even when I make every shot new waves spawn. Maybe explain the rules a bit? 3/5
A game about an ugly boy who gets depressed over a pretty girl and then jump off a cliff in his dreams. Uhh... wait, what? At the end, you commit suicide? How is this an acceptable end to your "dreams"? Shouldn't he have, you know, FLOWN instead of FALLEN?
This was a pretty cool game. Some parts were really hard but not impossible. Just the right mix of fun, unique design, and challenge to make a solid 5/5.
Part 1/2: Overall this game has potential, but I feel like there are a number of things that make this game dull, repetitive, boring, and frustrating. First off, you need to break up the entire game into something I like to call, "Levels". Levels are good because they allow the player to feel as though they are progressing through a game and not just doing the same thing over and over. Each level should have a set number of enemies, and a set range of enemies that spawn in each level. So, like for the first level you could have just the carrots and the green things maybe. Upon completing a level, maybe give the player bonus gold. Levels = progression = not as repetitive. Secondly, I'd recommend splitting up the upgrades on the weapons and making them cheaper. Make it so you can upgrade a gun's fire rate, or damage. Third, my biggest gripe with the game is when you pick up ammo and it AUTO-SWITCHES to the gun that uses the ammo you just picked up. KNOCK THAT SHIT OFF!
Part 2/2: Seriously if I wanted to use that gun, I would press the '2' key to switch to it and use it! I don't want you to choose what gun I am using! I know I can just push '1' to switch back to the pistol, but that is even worse than having to press the '2' key to choose my weapon because I have to do it EVERY TIME I PICK UP AMMO. THIS IS ANNOYING. At the very least, make it a toggle-able option to auto-switch because I'm sure some people like it, but most probably don't. Last but most importantly, items that drop down should be able to be picked up in mid air, because I can't tell you how many times I jump through some gold expecting to pick it up, not have picked it up, and then have to fight my way through or run through a horde of enemies so I can get those coins. Overall, I'm giving this a 2/5 until some of these issues are fixed.
Uhh, made it to the woman that I can't reach but no idea what to do. If I walk away from her in any direction, the heartbeat gets weaker. 3/5 for creativity but needs better directions / explanation.
Second boss is too hard. The one where he fires ~20 yellow enemies and then some blues and other ones just decimates my shield because it's impossible to guard against them all. Fun up until then but can't pass that no matter how good I am.
Actually there is 9 yellow enemies per attack, and they are not do much damage (1 HP per enemy), so you can just ignore them because other enemies is more dangerous.

Nice game. A bit easy but cute and tells the story. Would be nice if there were a few more challenging levels. I really like the space-switch-freeze mechanism and that could have been used in a number of other levels. Solid 4.5/5. Almost a 5.5 but as I said, a little short and a little easy but still very nice.
Seriously needs level select option so you can re-play the easier levels a few times to get enough money if you want instead of dying over and over to make more money.
The 2/3/4 bullet upgrades do NOT stack so just go strait for the 4x bullets and the 4x damage stacked with the machine gun and penetrating bullets = GG
Enemies left: 7; been waiting a few minutes. Level bugged. Overall 3/5 but this game is either too hard or too easy depending on what upgrades you have.
Hans escaped his collapsing utopia to continue living in real world. It's not suicide. Thank you for playing :)
