Sadly, most people don't bother to find out that the crossover of Fallout with MLP is actually a stand-alone fandom which merely started with the epic fanfic titled "Fallout: Equestria". The authors in the fandom have taken some of the more disturbing implications of MLP and very neatly evolved them into a world which suffered a "Fallout"-inspired technomagical world war. If you like the premise of the game (and presumably dislike how happy-ended MLP tends to be) - give the original epic novel (and maybe "Project Horizons) a read - it's well worth it.
pretty much all you need to do is keep up circling the arena and firing roughly into the middle of it. dodging and blocking bullets is pretty much pure luck due to poor framerate handling. no tactics, no upgrades, no storyline, no replay value.
Could be depending of the browser you're using as well. I have tested on low end desktops as well so It should run smoothly. I recommend Chrome or Firefox for a good webGL compability. Also, you can disable functionalities in the option's menu. there are upgrads, there are tactics, and with leaderboards, some people really find replay value. Sad to see that it wasn't for you.
for the building quests, the people should be able to grab resources from the storehouse, not just wait until you, more or less the tribe's chieftain, have scooped over to be their delivery boy
as the developer is something of an ass, note that on 21 the clue actually goes exactly in the NE,W,WSW,ESE,N order; the commas matter! so you don't have to hit 10 cardinal directions, just 5, but using the inbetween ones
There are few games that make one want to quit during the tutorial, and this is one. Minigames are called this because they are generally optional or only required for 100% completions. Setting up every action on a minigame is utterly annoying.
Also, this is my internal chemist speaking: there should be a way to convert
1. water into hydrogen and oxygen using energy and maybe a little bit of iron (catalysator loss, I'm a nerd)
2. methane into graphite and hydrogen, using a lot of energy or
3. methane and oxygen into graphite and water, producing energy or
4. methane and oxygen into carbon dyoxide and water, producing even more energy
P.S. would you terribly mind to rename graphite to coal?
There will be electrolysis indeed :) And graphite was named coal in earlier versions, but since it isn't used for energy purpose (but refined in nanotubes) I think graphite is more appropriate. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of physically-accurate, but I thought it should be simplier than that.
While a tutorial would be nice, simple tooltips like "requires geology V" when clicking on titanium would help a lot. The game also feels like remembering an early MMO-RTS called "Spacenations" which i fondly recall wasting a few of my schoolyears with.
piss-poor arthouse attempt? check. voiced instructions? check. no mute button? check.
instant 1/5 and a screaming demand to be allowed to punch people who liked this
seriously needs the ability to make flights with a landing inbetween. when I own the paths Nairobi-Harare and Harare-Johannesburg, then clicking Johannesburg when in Nairobi should show "fly with landing and refueling" before showing "buy path"
