Too many ambiguities... 2/5. Asking for an I in a picture with countless bounded straight lines is quite unfair - any one of them could reasonably be seen as a letter I.
5/5 for the concept & gameplay. -1 because it unmutes after each level. -1 because the creator doesn't know the difference between 'Hint' and 'Walkthrough'. Total: 3/5
okay... after getting killed in trench warfare 30 times, i give up. What I've seen so far is a reasonable concept, terrible graphics, decent challenge, and not enough story to judge its quality. So: graphics/sound: 1/5. Concept: 3/5. controls/gameplay: 2/5. challenge: 4/5. Total: 10/20, which is 2.5/5; since i can't give fractional ratings, i'll have to drop to 2/5 because there's no way to bypass levels that I can't beat to see the rest of the story.
i hate differences that deduct points for clicking them. there's an arrow on the right and a purple ring on the left, and when i click it it penalizes me and tells me i'm wrong.
The shuffling algorithm seems to leave a bit to be desired. Over the course of 12 consecutive games (with 12 pillars in a 30 card deck), it alternated between no pillars in the opening hand forcing a discard, and ALL pillars in the opening hand. No change to the deck between games.
I think it's a brilliant reminder of just how fast you go broke playing slots. On average, (varying a bit, depending on the specific casino and machine) you'll spend close to 100x as much as you win. If you win the $10k jackpot, chances are pretty good that you've spent $100k (or more) along the way to get there - so did you really win?
