Its cute, but the fights leave little room for technique beyond button mashing. Avoiding damage seems haphazard; there is no way to dodge. You basically either park yourself inside the enemy or repeatedly run away and reengage at max range. I dunno, I just feel like something is missing that would make the fights actually fun instead of just cute and funny.

This game is very fun, and I love that you can play it in very short sessions with frequent saving. That works out quite well for people with jobs and kids who have limited ability to pull hours-long gaming sessions. However it seems like the final boss fight would take a couple of hours. It would be great if there were the ability to save the game in between "Stages" of this boss fight so that people who don't have hours-at-a-time to dedicate to the fight could still finish the game. The rest of the game is tailored to do just this; why not the last boss fight as well?

Capturing an apartment building with people living in it should automatically recruit the tenants. They shouldn't be "lost" due to the population cap, since you're increasing that limit by reclaiming the apartment. At minimum they should move to another unclaimed zone, so that you still get the opportunity to recruit them.

Hm. I'm on the last boss and I'm suddenly reminded why I don't think I ever finished EBF3. You cruise through the game, overpowered as hell, progressing satisfyingly quickly, and then you hit the last battle and WHAM. It's a ridiculous two-hour marathon gut check. Very out of character with the rest of the game, and kind of off-putting. I mean, I get that the title includes the word "epic", but. This borders on not-fun-anymore. Just because you *can* carry it out to this extreme doesn't mean that you *should*. Just my experience. Others may like it.

I wish there were a downloadable version so that losing brower cookies (or whatever the issue with the save files is that people seem to frequently encounter) could be circumvented. What a downer.

Ouch. I ruined last night's sleep over this game, only to discover that my save files are gone this morning. Ouch, ouch, ouch.

As always, an awesome installation in an awesome series. More of the same great stuff we love, in a pretty new box. I do wish you could play with all 4 characters at once. The instant switch-out option takes away some of that sting, though.

Meh. This was less like a game, and more like a kaleidoscope. A self-directed animation sequence. I suppose on some level it did rely on hand-eye coordination and spatial relationship perception, but even a monkey would have eventually moved the mouse to the correct spot on the screen, given enough time. It was mildly interesting, but not really replayable. Cute idea though.

No prompting for "are you sure?" when you click the Red Arrow to return to the Main Menu? Really?

Uh, good game, but get that SELL button the HECK away from the playing field. If you're going to add real-time-strategy style unit micromanagement to a tower defense game, you can't have a ONE-CLICK SELL button right smack in the middle of the field of action where you need to be frantically clicking. That's common sense.

Always a fan of the Protector line of games. One small wish I have would be a way to cancel a build without having to touch my keyboard. That way I can lounge back in my chair and play while watching TV. Other than that, great job.

Very interesting take on the "your goal is to stay in flight ad nauseum" pseudophysics genre. I'm not a fan of this genre, but this was very well done. It held my attention longer than most. Nice job.

Another idea for a selection mechanism might be you could have the next TT scheduled to fire its ability glow when you mouse over the Bloon Annihilation button, and give the option to "Skip" to the next one, until the one you want to fire is highlighted. Or, allow the user to click a spot on the map, similar to the Mortar's target ability, and have a rule that says they will fire in the order of proximity to that spot.

It would be nice if the Technological Terror Bloon Annihilation ability had a smarter algorithm for deciding which TT fires it, based on proximity to the largest cluster of bloons, or something. Alternatively, you could allow users to assign an integer to each TT, and have a user-selectable rule that it fires the Lowest Available integer, Highest Available, or Next Integer Available In Sequence. I know this seems nitpicky, but from what I've seen, in the endgame, you're only as good as your AoE nukes. On some tracks, it doesn't matter, because you can cluster them all in one area. However, on other tracks, it makes more sense to spread them out, and you end up often wasting two just to get one to fire near where you wanted it.

This game has the framework to be a lot of fun, but unfortunately its difficulty level is too high to be consistently enjoyable. With so many interesting options, there should be multiple paths to success. However, tragically, the opposite is actually true. There are very few viable strategies you can use if you want to survive, and it is quite unforgiving if you stray from them to upgrade tech or branch out to try another tower type. I really enjoy the framework of the game, which is unique and engaging. However, it's simply ratcheted up a few notches too difficult for someone who doesn't want a gruelling, unforgiving, esteem-crushing casual playthrough.

This is a nice concept, but the game generates a lot of tedium for the satisfaction it yields. It would be more rewarding to the player if the puzzles were tied together in some sort of epic overarching plot, wherein each puzzle reveals a bit more of a story line, and earns points toward upgrades. Give the player some motivation to keep going, other than "yet another picma puzzle". Just a suggestion.

I have to admit, I'm not a very big fan of overly hands-on tower defense games. If I wanted an action/shooter game, I'd go play an action/shooter game. However, this game was well done for what it was. A short half-hour lark that is worth a playthrough.

Uh.... not a fan of Survival Mode. I was so close to "finishing" the map when all of a sudden everything went to hell. So, there goes an hour of my time, without the satisfaction of seeing it through to the end. But, whatever. I still love your games. Just not the automatic 60-minute Survival Mode.
