This is a great game, but the doors in survivals are way too close together, its almost impossible to get pants on fire or sweet impact if you dont get it early, late practically impossible, and upgrading takes 6-10 runs per upgrade. It just takes too long, i'm on my 8h hour i'm still not done upgrading T_T
In the 3rd part of flying training, if i hit the edge of the target, i get negative points, but if i miss the target i get 0 points? what's the point of that?
Just to add one thing, it wasnt that we were trying to recreate the next scene every time we went back, it was just literally playing the game backwards. If it were, here's the answer to the puzzle but how do you get there, maybe it would've been more interesting.
It was a cool idea, but the story was really dry, and didn't really have a good feeling of completion. Maybe some restructure? or a plot twist? Otherwise it was just very plain.
The 1.04 upgrade is bugged. If one connection to a node is full, the node wont give power to any nodes, rather than just the node that's full. http://i.imgur.com/Dh1kD.png
As for the big upgrades, rush the triple, there should be a good point in between allies and cannon that you can afford this. This will help bring down the inner cannons. I take triple, then smart canons, then secondary shooters, i usually finish before i get the last one. To take out the first layer of cannons, get one level in sheilds and 2 in engine, and then one engine and one sheild per layer. by the time you're ready to take out the 2nd layer of cannons, make sure allies and cannons are maxed and you have triple shot. try to stay out of the center, the sheer amount of cannons will kill you, and 10 seconds can be an eternity if you're behind a level
@imabunny, upgrading your ships is sometimes more important than upgrading your weapon. there's alot of crossfire, and you have to keep your ships at least at the same level preferably one higher than the enemy. I max that first, switching on and off with weapon, and a few in engine, you should be good
Also, i'd like to make a small suggestion, not sure if this is something you had in mind in your strategy type game. It would be really cool to make decisions while paused, some of the levels have so many things happening so quickly, its hard to manage everything. otherwise looking forward to your updates :)
Yeah, some other suggestions were to regulate the speed, which would be a straight forward solution (only a good interface idea needed). The problem with this is current AI. Its dumb and relies a lot on speed.
The other thing i think LordBucket was saying, when an opponent overtakes a node, they get 5 power points in it, so in the GPU vs HUB scenario, the hub will win and put 5 points in a gpu, which makes it even harder to get back. My best example of this is level 12, I rush to take out the orange cpu, and then i start an infinite battle for the gpu in the center, the battle never ends because the gpu can never solo down a hub, their attack speed is too high. When i try to, the hub attacks me and i lose all my power, which was en route to the hub, the hub then over takes the gpu and puts 5 points in it, and now i'm behind purple by 5 points, giving purple the victory. Its just a little unbalanced that you lose all the power that was "mid-air" if the node goes down before the power reaches its destination
The 5 points were necessary to give the winning attacker a little advantage, because otherwise possession would switch so fast you wouldn't realize and your connections would go off faster than you could attach them back. But I agree that the HUB is currently too strong, as stated in LordBucket's great jpg! :)
LordBucket has a good point. The GPU's attacks are so much slower than the hubs, that often hubs are stronger attackers than GPUs in a hub vs GPU scenario, even if they have the exact same amount of power, the hub will win from attack speed, not attack strength
I'd like a "hard mode" where time didn't stop when you changed the maps. maybe slowed? i'm not sure if i'd even be able to do that all in 5 minutes, but i finished the game with 3:45 to spare great game 5/5 no pun intended ;)
Its a great game shiribaz, but it keeps crashing randomly on me. I'm on Mac OS 10.7.2 running Flash Player 11.1.102.55 on Firefox 8.0.1. It doesn't seem to have any relation to what i'm doing, first time was pressing a button, this time collecting a heart, but it's happened a few times already
hmm, thanks a lot for the feedback, would it be crashing just before you earn a memory?
I couldn't think of any other thing except that, more information appreciated.
Would love the ability to control packets like in Creeper World:US/:E, ie supply packets, build packets, and ground destroying packets :) Love the game 5/5
Hmm thats strange, worked good when I tested it. Will have a look in a few hours. Thx :)
