Can we see investment outcome on the Time page? I'd like to watch my income go up once i've got my hapiness up to the minimum i need for the next lifetime
This game is odd. Investing money in anything produces little to no increase in revenue. Additionally, revenue increases linearly while cost increases geometrically, meaning at a certain point gains are not worth the cost. The first store is probably the most efficient selling method in the game until you get cities. Workshop is weird. The production method is very expensive and then you only sell bags at $1.5 each. Trucks are weird, breaks all the time costs $35k to fix it so you have to invest alot to save anything. Cities are efficient at selling but costs $20M to get them up and running and producing anything worthwhile. All in all this game is super slow and provides little to no gains until way later at which point it just breaks. Invest as much as you can in marketing even the 100K because after it just breaks and you can sell very fast. Use that until you can make Cities worthwhile. This game needs balancing @dev
Controls are weird. Most games use Spacebar to Advance, and R to restart. I keep trying to mash through the score screen to get to the next level and i have to play it again from the beginning. make the game playable on wasd, remove soft locks and put spikes or lava pits, and remove the score screen.
Solved!!! now the Spacebar restart the game during play but when you beat the level, if you press spacebar go to next level. Thanks for your contribution ;)
By the way, advertising the game as a not pay to win is cool, but if Telsa points are the way to win, and you're planning on lettings people buy them, that's exactly what pay to win is.
True, but only if I let people buy them to that extend. Like I write in the game: by far not there yet, if ever. Idea is to let people buy Tesla Points only for upgrades that give some extra fun, not to have them break through a virtual wall or anything. Main idea is no ads, no pay to win / pay to progress.
Anyways this game is super broken. I really like the style/art of it but there's not much to the game. Most of the settings, mini games, things to do are hard to find. The buttons are small and look like part of the background. Travelling back in time doesn't make sense, even with Back to the Future logic, unlocking Tesla Upgrades doesnt do anything, automatic refill upgrades dont work, travelling back in time produces Tesla points with diminishing returns (as opposed to linear or exponential returns) rewarding quick resets instead of long ones. All in all this is basically just pretty pictures with buttons that may do something. Here on kong we'd like to see more functional games than pretty ones. Make the game fun then work on the art. For now 3/5
Please note that Nutshell's comment was from a while ago. A LOT of things have been fixed and improved, as I am sure Nuttshell will agree with. Just take some time and figure things out. Its just odd that 1 refill gets me 5 TP but 10 refills only got me 15? Also i kind of wish interact-able buttons were more easily to identify. Kind of clicking all over the screen to figure out what to do.
What device / OS are you playing on? With the exception of the somewhat mean, yet obvious 'turn time circuits on' toggle, the rest of then should be very well identifiable as buttons and enabled / active or not....
Why does each level increase difficulty at the same rate as wood. What's the point of that? My upgrades are barely keeping up with the rate of increase. My upgrades on feel meaningful. Remove BaseDef entirely from the game, because there's absolutely no point in getting higher level trees because of it.
Last week, Chrome changed the way it handles music in the browser. Because of that, the music didn't play automatically anymore. Now it should start as soon as you click somewhere.
Relics should be much harder to gain. Remove getting relics faster whatsoever. And make it so that the relics give better/different bonuses like the recruiter 1%, or fundraiser .01 more money. The upgrades that are worth the most, are the easiest to access. That way the game has longevity and value, because the pace of the early game is nice and slow but then spirals out of control. Maybe tempest can reduce the amount of Tithes for each zealot by 1 and cost increments of 100. Recruiter could cost increments of 5 but unlimited, fundraiser could be increments of 10 unlimited. You could slow down the game by making Mega Temple cost 10 Preachers, and Monument cost 100, that way it would be in line with the money value. And that would balance out the income of new Zealots
