I need to retract my statement, It seems that the totals are now including the multiplier, and there is a steep bonus growth once you get into the prestige level range. The early levels give very poor ROI, and progressing further is far better then upgrading anything higher then lv10, but once you get to lv 80+ the income skyrockets. Everything is good.
I totally forgot to mention we now show the proper multiplied values on the upgrade screens! Every quest has it's own peaks and valleys, but in general, your gold really starts exploding the farther you go into prestiges.
Your last fix broke the multipliers by the looks of it. Im getting nowhere near the income I was before, and progressing through the game, even 13+ rebirths in has slowed to a crawl. If this was intended, then every stage is going to need a major rebalance again as the ROI on upgrades is nightmarish atm.
Ive been thinking about the prestige chest, and I feel it could use a minor change. Clicking on several chests is a tad repetitive, and its not really fulfilling I feel as well. In my opinion, I feel it should be just one chest when you prestige, and you get a number of items/gold equal to your prestige level instead of having to click gold icons and what not. This could also come in the form of booster packs or whatever else you prefer too. Also I feel the background for the chest should be a bit more flashy or even animated. The colors just dont mesh well I feel.
Ive got an idea for the game, however it may conflict a bit with the card system you are making, but I will toss it out here anyway. Google Settlement Hierarchy. It would be great if the retirement village got scaling bonuses of some sort when it reached each new milestone (and artwork change as well of course)
I caught a glimpse of an odd bug. All attempts at re creating said bug have failed thus far, but if anyone encounters this issue, please report it as such. I just woke up and spent a lot of money on zone and unit upgrades, and now some of my units randomly return to the guild even tho they did not die, nor finish the string of zones. Anyone encounter anything like this?
SOMEtimes we'll see guildians just....skip nodes. We honestly don't know how to repro any of it yet. They seem to have a mind of their own sometimes? If we can figure out what's going on with those weird random instances we'll figure out a fix!
So... the last stage in the game is at lv 57. I have everything maxed, and nearly every unit in the game on that last stage. Its been half an hour now, and its not even half way dead.
Just saying.... this needs some adjustment, lol :D
Bug Found: Mission 3 - Raid the Bandit Camp has a max mission level of 100 while every other mission has a max level of 90. Not sure what prestige I am on however, but the next time I do prestige, I will unlock the last locked mission.
Bug report: When changing your multiplier to x5 or x10, your guild halls will not get a ( ! ) if you cant afford 10, but the zones get one if you can buy only 1, even if you cant afford 10.
I find that the resource value per upgrade is rather poor on many of the middle zones. Some are so bad that it may be best to have a level 1 zone to quickly get past, or a maxed out heal spot just to get to the harder zones, while others give so much income that you can sustain yourself to near the end of the game off of them. I feel the cost of upgrade should be relative to the value gained for completion. The prestige areas also have a very low payout for the VERY long amount of time it takes to do them. I feel as locked content, they should be worth much more. Concept Idea: As quite a few players have suggested, having a way to tell what upgrades best is not a bad idea. You could fix the issues above by splitting zone types into growth types (for lack of a better term atm) For example, a zone that makes the most money should be the hardest to clear, but zones that make less money per run may have a much lower damage, or higher enemy count, allowing mages to do more damage.
Minor bug - when you collect all treasures, sometimes the static image of a treasure chest remains that you cant collect. It goes away after one more zone clear tho.
MAJOR BUG - If the game crashes, or you reload when you are trying to prestige, your prestige bar grays out and you are unable to prestige again, despite the last save. Its gonna take a while before I get to P rank 6 to see if it fixes itself, but this needs to be addressed asap.
Here is a current list of the zones that make the most money [9/23/2016]
Zone1: Explore the Haunted Forest
Zone2: Orc Attack
Zone3: Raid the Bandit Camp
Zone4: Skull Dungeon
Zone5: Battle the Giant Plant
Zone6: Search for Lost Dog
Zone7: Subterranean Dungeon
Zone8: Search for Lost Deer
Zone9: Conquer the Stone Maze
Zone10: Search the Valley for Ore (super slow), or Defeat the Ghost Crypt (much faster, and only a little less)
Zone11: Purge the Haunted Castle
Zone12: No Rest for the Wicked
Zone13: Bandit Raid
Zone14: Search for Survivors (again, super, super slow. Opt for a fully upgraded Spacation to just quickly get to the boss that is next)
Zone15: Raid the Plant Monsters
~These next missions are ungodly slow, and I find them not worth it~
Zone16: Battle at Skeleton Keep
Zone17: Defend the Tree Village
Please + this post for everyone to see, at least until we have a method added in of telling what is best.
Update on bug report: The source is related to the buy X setting. The option to buy units disappeared all together while buying 10 at a time, but it came back after cycling it back to 1. Still, I would class this as a bug as you should be able to buy the remainder with the x10 option.
Opinion - Remove the buy 5x, and add in a buy 100x.
Bug found related to unit max. Currently, I am on my third rebirth I think, and some of my guild halls cap out at 51, while others cap out at 53. Also my adventurer caped out at 50.
Please look into this when you are able :)
Ok confirmed, something major must have been changed as I am progressing at less then 1/5th the speed that I did the last rebirth. The amount of money in your retirement home either reset from your last update, or it over wrights your previous amount. Gold values seem out of wack once again as amount earned seems really, really, low now compared to the costs to upgrade, and the gains from finishing.
I may be mistaken about this, but I just did a rebirth and my gold per 5 from my past adventures is less then it was before. Could it be overwriting the previous data instead of adding it together?
Ya, the save feature broke for me as well and manual save is not working. Tried to rebirth to force a save and game froze causing me to loose a lot of progress.
Re-posting this bug report as someone rated down my last bug report for some reason...
I have a cost to buy more then 40 units of any given building, but the button is grayed out. I am working on testing to see if this is due to already being at 40 units at the time of the update, or if you have it locked on purpose, however the costs are in the billions for the other buildings, so this will take time.
Edit to bug report 2: The upgrade notification was user error - aka my fault. I had no idea there was a quantity buy option below that I clicked. Disregard that part of it.
Bug Report 2: The Feedback button in game is now bugged, and locks the game up when clicking it - offering no window. Further more, it seems several zones have the ( ! ) icon letting me know an upgrade is ready, yet I have nowhere near the money to buy them.
Bug Report: After the update, I have a cost to buy more then 40 units of any one given building, however its still grayed out and I am unable to buy them.
I totally forgot to mention we now show the proper multiplied values on the upgrade screens! Every quest has it's own peaks and valleys, but in general, your gold really starts exploding the farther you go into prestiges.
