First few levels I thought 'Oh, god, another tedious floaty not-a-real-game' sort of thing, but actually, I really like it. Very smooth too - if you fail, you can restart instantly, which is a feature lacking in FAR too many games like this.

Gosh. Like Katamari, only not so much fun. The fact you pretty much cant escape a large planet when it's already on your screen is annoying - there were one or two moments when I used the gravity to coast at speed along between massive planets and at that point it all worked brilliantly - except there's not apparently any part of the design meant to take advantage of that as whenever you manage to skim by, you just slap into another planet eventually. Could use some friendlier system than 'move slowly slowly slowly collect loads...seebigplanethitbigplanet...restart level'

Seems to flood you with health packs if your health gets to 50 or less, making it really easy. Plus, why bother having an upgradeable weapon if it's only going to reset on level 9? There's no way I'd have played a 10-minute survival round of a game this simple if I hadn't already just forced myself to play the other 11 rounds...

Lovely idea for kids, but the very large numbers are frustrating - it's good that it's quite a short game but it feels unfair to lose when it's caused by a 'forced' rush of numbers - adding a 5 and '10' bullet and possibly multiply with the spacebar would expand it hugely.

I unlocked the second red stage before I unlocked the first one - it seems to unlock after you've earnt five stars on five missions on one page, or something similar. I think if it were opened purely by point score the first page one would have opened first. Anyway, all the red stages are, are relatively easy bonus missions - I earnt approximately double my score on these levels compared to the others on the same page. Great for levelling up, but is that really the 'secret way' to beating the boss?

ARGH. Finally beat challenge. Had problems with level 5 more than anything, til I realised all I had to do was go in a really big *square* rather than a circle like level 2.

The main game basically plays itself - just buy the heaviest two bots that you can enter into the contest and make them gang up on one of the opponents, then sit back. I like the idea behind the challenges but I wish there was a way to make the bots stay still sometimes, other than when they get stuck. And the challenges really highlight the fact you really dont need any strategy to beat the normal mode.

Also - bombing the opponent's base would be nicer if the screen didnt scroll back down when you went to the menu...That's just plain awkward. Oh, and I tried the 'do nothing until level 20 and then counterattack' thing and bang, I won within a minute. What was I doing while waiting for the game to play itself? Writing the previous comment, lol...

Much as I really want to give an encouragingly high star rating, it would be wrong to do so. This is a decent start, but that's not what the score system is meant to reflect. Compared to Protector, Desktop Tower Defence and the likes, it's just not very interactive - and, even worse, the menu panel at the bottom is bland - there's nothing to distinguish between any of the options or any attempt to make it look appealing (or suitably battle-hardened.) Nicer design - maybe even customisation of what sort of base you want to be defending - would help a lot.

Has potential, but needs something to change the pace a bit. When the challenge doesn't increase over time you will end up with a game that simply doesn't entice you into trying to beat your own score, it just becomes a lengthy game of patience. Perhaps adding some balloons that go at different speeds or require a pin from each side (or just two shots). And if all else fails, add some sparkly balloons so the overall look doesn't stay so repetitive - maybe even having bonus hot air balloons float across sideways or upwards.

It's like a sideways-scrolling version of the ancient Atari game Kaboom where you had to catch an infinite number of bombs in a water barrel. Not really a game on its own, and not really a very worthwhile copy.

Pause doesn't work, and if a one-balloon kid goes off the side, the game just doesnt do anything for ages. Plus, my god it's ugly and has bad music. But, nice quirk on the straightforward shooter style.

Woo, took about 8 hours to go from day 1 to day 18, scored less than 5000 points, I can't stare at a barely-moving screen for that long. It's fun, sort of, but mostly it's just very slow.

I was at level 8 when I beat the slug, it took me by surprise - luckily my guy kept dodging and I had two potions...and now I have nothing to help out with the weird metal boss so I probably ought to retry it at a higher level to save my potions for that...hmm.

Actually, I lied. It's hardly worth it at all once you're doing enough damage to wipe out the bosses in one round. But it's handy before you can do that.

Wizzy, you should see the 'all time highest level' score table. I'm guessing the ones who made it past level 5,000,000 hacked it... Someone commented that they couldn't get their damage resist over 50% - well, I've managed to get one cleric up to 57% by around level 20, but high-ish levels of damage resist drop by at least 1% for each level you go into the dungeon. So, to keep it up, you *have* to scavenge for every item and load up the rarest and toughest stuff just onto one person. It's definitely worth it though, they're unstoppable.

I cleared it on hard mode by turning every square to my side and then wiping out the opposing leader so there was only one square that wasn't mine...and still didn't get the badge, or the one for the million dollars. Easy but annoying and it seems slightly glitchy when you hold rallies.
