I experience this sticky behavior only when the browser/flash player has been running for some time. So before playing I always restart the browser. That does it for me.
@Alouette:If the game is asking for your name, it means it can't find any savegame data at all on your computer. Typically that means that some programm has deleted your flash shared objects, which is what the game is saved as. Make sure you have allowed the flash player to save data on your computer, your browser doesnt clear temporary files regulary and you don't run something like ccleaner. Saerch for a file named pixelo (pixeloOptionSave.sol) on your computer and make a copy. If it gets deleted copy it back to where you found it. There's a lot of help and tutorials on flash shared objects on the net and on the general kongregate forum.

I strongly agree with you on the "it's silly to download such a comment" part. your comment is perfectly fine, it's understandable, constructive and therefor well worth reading. I know there's a lot of ppl rating good posts down so when I'm reading comment's I'll always unhide everything. Sadly I haven't found a game on kong where only not worth reading comments get downvoted....
As I wrote 10 comments ago (which is not "pages"), there are no regular puzzles with guessing points. It might be not obvious how to proceed at some points, so if you'd like that, I can write you a detailed plan on how to solve a particular puzzle logically to prove there's nothing to guess about. . . . . Not sure, but what might be a problem... there's some bad programming done here that causes the numbers to go gray even thought the line is not solved correctly. Pretty much forces you to restart the puzzle. . . . . . PS: What usually gets you negative votes is stating something wrong, like "Some puzzles have guessing points" -no. or "It's impossible to mute this game" - it's possible, just use the Pause menu after pressing "P" while doing a puzzle.
I absolutly agree with Criminal9021 that making ppl use out-of game content to solve the puzzles can create lots of problems. Not so with like the ASCII code, that's widely available, free to get and most important unambiguous. While the newspaper thing, I tried 10 minutes to find out how to access that article w/o having to pay 4$ before giving up...
I can assure everyone that none of the standart easy/normal/hard puzzles have guessing points. All of them are logically solveable. Some might be a bit hard, but all are solvable by logic only.
@Bilalrox: The game data/savegame is stored on your computer locally. When your game "resets" that means, some programm deleted your flash shared object(s). Most often that's your browser when you order it to delete old temporary files, a programm to delete your traces in the net like ccleaner or your operating sytem asking whether it should clear some unused disk space. Your best option is to make a copy of the files regulary. Search your disk for a folder callled "chat.kongregate.com" or a file called "pixeloOptionSave.sol" Make a copy! Repeat every week or whenever you played.
You noticed there already is an Android version, didn't you? The link/icon are on the start and home screen right above the "Available on the App Store" button.
Sure, you can copy the flash save file pixeloOptionSave.sol which is stored at C:\Users\***YourUserName***\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\***some random letters***\chat.kongregate.com\gamez\0020\4650\live\PixeloForWebKG.swf in Windows 8 and at similar places in other windows versions. It's strongly recommended to regulary copy the whole chat.kongregate.com folder to avoid this kind of data loss.
There are two ways to mute the sound. In the options you can klick on the left edging of the volume bar. You can also mute the game in the pause menu: Start any level and press "P". In both cases "sound" controlls the sound effects, "b.g.m" the backgroundmusic.
Daily puzzles change at 0am UTC. That is currently 8pm New York, 5pm Vancouver, 11am Sydney, 8am China, 4am Moscow, 2am Central Europe, 9pm Rio de Janeiro. Remember these times will vary by one hour when DST is turned off/on.
