Collision detection is too strong. I would recommend reducing the collision bounding box to just the feet or lower legs, otherwise not a bad attempt for a first try at programming.
having played through, I have to agree with Snipahar. The 'A Game By MD333" writing does not use the same typeface as the other messages in the game - the 'you lose' messages in particular show that the same typeface was used throughout. Except for that one anottation line, curiously. No sane developer does that.
DDnNERDii, unless you own the servers that Kong ruins on, or at least recieve a regular employee paycheck from Kong, then its not your website. What it is however, is the largest, most popular site you could find, that would pay you money for uploading high quality flash games to it that people would enjoy playing. The only minor thing you missed is Kong believes in paying for the work put into creating it. You did not create this game, so in effect it is no different than you taking the TV set from someone's house, and flogging it for money.
Just the same as the others you've uploaded. Very well put together, and an older flash game. Maybe no-one will notice if you pretend it's yours, upload it, and collect money from it, right? Wrong.
I would also advise a quick trip to DDnNERDii's profile, and clicking on the 'report abuse' button. Let Kong know that there is a thief present, using mass uploading to try and earn a quick puck, illicitly.
DDnNERDii, Canadian copyright law is not on your side for this. You can face some serious charges of theft and fraud if you keep this up. None of these are your own work, and this is just a scam for financial gain.
CGM did not give you permission to upload it. They gave permission to upload on a site you own, where you will not gain much advertising revenue from it, and will not receive kreds, or other form of monetary compensation. By uploading it here, you are committing fraud, as you are not the author, nor do you have the author's permission.
DDnNERDii, why is every single game you have uploaded in your name, a highly successful game someone else has made? The only reason you're uploading to kong, is to try and wheedle some money out of other people's hard work. I believe as well as notify Kong, I will notify the copyright owners. It will be interesting to see which ones talk to you, and which ones sue you.
"And i didnt steal this. I got it off crazy monkey games. " In other words, you downloaded it off their site, and posted it here, where you reasoned you stood a chance of earning some money for someone else's work. Sounds like stealing to me.
Basically someone's used that new Adobe program to copy the R-type executable into Flash 10, wholesale. Agreed with Robodemon. Someone is going to jail for this.
Well, one good thing you can say about this over most first-timer maze games, is it solves the right click problem most such have. Innovative, for what it is.
