Also, just discovered thanks to a later level that the gunshots are balistic, curving downwards and with a maximum upwards range. This on a game where lightning fast enemies attack you from far above? Not a great design choice.
Unbalanced. Controls are too twitchy, and the mouse controls feel sluggish. This is not a good combination. The enemies move far too swiftly with this control set, to make this game enjoyable.
Acid, edutainment exists to use games to teach. There is nothing wrong with that. Unfortunately, this is more of a twitch fest than a fun game. I am assuming it was created for teenage boys on a sugar high.
Death and winning are both too abrupt. You cannot tell if you have won or lost, until the number of lives scrolls up. Perhaps a victory / loss animation would help sort this out?
I just love this game. It brings back happy childhood memories of playing "Fox Fights Back" on the commodore 64 in the 80s. The graphic style is almost identical. Ahh, nostalgia.
Extremely primitive and not well thought out. You have a quick and dirty clicker, and a time passed marker, which does not align too well with the years/months/days markers - the numbers are all one long string and so jump about alarmingly. Its not bad for a first ever attempt at programming, but nowhere near a working game, and certainly not in the same league as true idlers.
I love the way you have invisible walls in the middle of the air. I think its fair to say that there is less playability here than in a shootorial game.
A dress-up game with achievements? Seems an odd idea. However, you have clearly put a lot of thought into this, and I love how the thumbnails for new items change depending on what else you are wearing at the time. Are they using a viewport, or simply a lot of textures, please?
I love this. Simple, sweet, and fairly polished. It is not really a game of course, but a wonderful relaxation tool, and the music is blissful. Ideal as a 'just chatting' tool.
I can see what they are trying to do, but taking the chart out of context like that, its not going to educate. Also, the repetitive action whilst it will earn you RSI if you keep at it for an extended period, punishes those with lesser co-ordination, in a rediculous way for an education title.
Another carbon copy game from the creator. Exactly the same play mechanics, different graphics. Its quite clear by now, that the programmer has not got an imaginative bone in their body.
The score submit made me giggle. What is the point of captcha, for text input in a flash program? The coder of that, is not firing on all thrusters, me suspect :)
I did not find the storyline particularly strong, but an enjoyable adventurer regardless. As to how the robot survived, quite easily I would imagine, if the planetoid has no atmosphere. There are obviously power cells in various other devices, maybe it rolled up against one of those accidentally, and it just took a long, long time for a leaking battery power supply to collect in sufficient quantity, to power the robot back on?
Well, Braband, its not your first game, as it does not meet the basic requirements of being a game. Its a start, but you have a long, long way to go yet.
1+1 = 2 or 11. Straight away there is a problem. Is it maths or string addition? Both answers would be right, in the proper context. Whole game feels incredibly unpolished, and rushed.
