The whole "fixed bug that makes game freeze in Chrome" is fine and all, but... It freezes while being used in Fire Fox. I beat a level and it freezes. I refresh and beat the next level, and it freezes. It's really fun to not be able to play a game. -_-
The two biggest things that piss me off. 1) While running for an opportunity for a power shot, a lot of the time the character will run PAST the geek and not return unless you get high enough. It makes no sense that this should happen, since it cuts out your shots, no matter the number. And when you're hundreds of thousands of feet in and want to hit your guy further, this sort of screws you. 2) There is no unequip function. When you only have one page of items, the first time you have won't unequip, so it's a permanent equip until you get another page of items and click one of them there. This is stupid and unnecessary. Great game otherwise.
Really? I looked through the achievements and the amount of souls you get from unlocking them. The first mass murderer gets you thirty thousand souls. Getting the first time stopper achievement gets you eight souls. Really? Are you serious? Isn't that a rather pointless amount? They don't get any higher with the other two. It's ridiculously small considering how many souls you get from the others.
Spoiler for those that miss the obvious: On a clapper is a number. When you go downstairs there's a cellphone. If you call the number on the clapper it distracts the slave. Then you pick up the movie reel and head back upstairs. Put the reel in and you see some symbols, which are actually numbers for the jewelery box. Even if you read what the number is in the comments it won't let you open the box until you see that movie. Once you have all four of the pieces use the book you should have opened with a key and put the pieces in the slots accordingly.
Note to all kidnappers in the future: If you want to be a successful kidnapper, here's what you should do. Always pick hostages that look exactly the same. Preferably blond women who all wear gray. And make sure when they run, they never change the direction they're facing, that they continue to look to the far right. One last thing, make them incredibly stupid. That way, when someone comes to save them, they get in the way of that persons bullets and die a horrible, agonizing death. That is all. Happy kidnapping!!
My only real complaint is that sometimes when I tried to dodge roll it wouldn't let me, which got me hit. Other than that I found that using the arrow keys to move and W to jump made things five times easier. When in the middle of dodging things I found it harder and harder to try and push the up arrow while using left and right to get out of the way of bullets.
Heh. I found a glitch of some sort. After killing the creature (that I turned into a dinosaur turtle thing) I went to the left and jumped onto a lower platform, then killed myself, just to see what happened. After that, I shot myself back up to where the dead creature was. I walked towards it, and my guy began walking down, like he was descending a staircase. Partway through he fell off the map to the right, with the spikes. And instead of respawning on the ground, it put him just to the right of the land, so he falls in a continuous loop, never able to complete the game and save the future.
Also, Immortal Shield should make you immune to status affects. It's IMMORTAL after all, and it doesn't make sense that damage can't get through, but sleep or paralyze can.
So far all the games in this series seems relatively the same. At the end it would have been nice if we had a chance to actually READ the epilogue. Other than that, I was disappointed that the voice over stopped midway through the game. Feels unfinished because of that.
A Nerdook game without a song is like Earth without air. The sky without stars. It makes you feel empty inside, to not have an awesome song at the end. I feel incomplete now.
Okay. I've got a pretty serious problem. I need three more missions in order to fight Bugzilla. The three missions I need are the ones you have to clear every square in order to complete it as a mission. I've cleared all three of them to one hundred percent and it doesn't count them as counted. What's going on? Why won't it let me count them as finished so I can get to Bugzilla?
I guess since there's already an amazing Epic War game out by now-Epic War 4-there's no need to talk about how slow it is, or how stupid that ninety-nine percent of my kills came from holding down A and S for the arrows. Instead, I'll say how I laughed my ass off when I got to the end battle. I got so many powerful creatures out onto the field that he couldn't attack me and I peeled off those millions of life like the layers of an onion. I'll rate this a 4/5 just because of that.
So much... repetition. Brain... slowly leaking out of ears. Can't hold on much LONGER!! Please, someone put me, and this game, out of my misery. Anyone? Any takers? We can blow up the game together and get rid of the mediocrity! Ugh. I'll just have to plan the game's demise on my own then.
What I believe they should add to this game and/or games in the future. While they show the basic stats that a unit might have, such as attack and life, what they fail to tell you is what a unit is capable of. Such as the Pixie being able to heal your units for a small amount of life periodically throughout the battle. Good information to know beforehand so you can plan everything accordingly and no need for experiments with your units.
Note: When trying to launch a rocket into space, make sure to leave random boost pads in random locations. And, remember, the only way to put them there is to have already launched a rocket that into space that dropped them there. Also remember that they do more harm than good because we haven't developed any type of technology that keeps you from hurting yourself when running into the one thing that's meant to actually help you. Happy flying!
