To anyone who has an issue with the game: If you state what you feel is a problem with the game and offer a suggestion on how to make the game more enjoyable, please feel free to do so; believe it or not, many developers listen to suggestions that might make their games better. If you just whine about the game without trying to be helpful, you are more than welcome to find a different game to play; no one is forcing you to be here.
Suggestion: Raise the costs and/or lower the power of some of the Metris cards. Metris cards seem inexpensive for their power especially when compared to Vespitole or Daramek cards of the same scarcity and upgrade level.
Suggestion: Raise the costs and/or lower the power of some of the Metris cards. When I send one of my Level 5 Vespitole or Daramek into a Journeyman-level Skirmish against a Metris, I usually lose, and when I send one of my Level 5 Metris into a Journeyman-level Skirmish against a Vespitole or Daramek, I usually win, even though I've upgraded more of my Vespitole cards than Metris cards and have more practice with Vespitole decks.
Suggestion: When Misinformation is played, please keep the killed card on the screen a bit longer and/or have player click to acknowledge. As it is now, it can be difficult to see which card got killed and is therefore unbuyable.
Suggestion: Adjust rewards for different difficulties of Skirmish. I find it much easier (and often faster) to get $100 by playing two Neophyte skirmishes rather than one Journeyman skirmish. Current: 50/75/100/125/??? (Reward=25*Difficulty+25 and RewardD2+RewardD3=175). Suggested: 35/70/105/140/175 (Reward=35*(Difficulty) and RewardD2+RewardD3=175). This would encourage players to try the higher difficulties rather than grinding on Neophyte difficulty.
Ugh. Killed by bad wording. Frame says "Deflect 5 attacks", but the attacks came back at me. That is not "Deflect" (prevent attack from hitting target); that is "Reflect" (send attack back to attacker).
Suggestion: Let players arrange (and/or select an auto-arrange) Durations and Allies in front of them. For example, I'd put:
"Meat shields" in the front row with all the Serfs on the left, then Militia, etc.
Other Allies in the back row with all the Marshalls on the left, then Coin producers, Food producers, etc.
Durations off to the side with blockers (Rampart, Misdirection, etc) in front.
Lighthouse Wave 33: These enemies GAIN health when you throw fire at them. Me: Red Mages, hold your fire; let the Blue Mages shoot instead. Red Mages: No! We must shoot! You cannot tell us to stop! You can't destroy us or sell us either! We will MAKE YOU FAIL!
Suggestions: Make the Actions, Durations, and Allies easier to tell apart, especially when they're in the Bank. Put the Allies and Durations in front of you into separate rows.
Looks great so far. Reminds me of Dominion, the main difference being that here you can use a card when you buy it (in Dominion, a bought card goes to your discard pile and only works when played from your hand).
