It's a very unique concept, but it's definitely way too slow and for some reason, I keep forgetting that x is to connect letters, so maybe the controls aren't too intuitive? I still think this has great potential though. 4/5
A rotating paddle sounds like a great idea but, it seems rotating it only affects the direction of the ball... it still goes in 45 degree angles, which means I'll constantly miss the one alien that's very close to the bottom. Needs a lot more work. 2/5
It's a cool spin on geography trivia and I really dig the soundtrack, but this game can get really unfair really quickly. You can't just pick the general country, you have to be centimeters away to get by. This wouldn't be a problem except the game purposefully picks cities at the countries' borders or shorelines. It's a nice trivia game, but damn is it hard. 4/5
I had a feeling this was made by the same dude that made Globetrotter: it has the exact same soundtrack. Anyway, it's a nice game, but it sucks that we're limited to only animals and there's no arcade mode that lets us find as many words as possible in a short amount of time. 3/5
Pretty cool 3D game. The shadows really help and there are few games that let you make custom levels on this site, so it's nice to have another. I know it's late, but it definitely deserves at least one badge. 4/5
Having it all be one large, changing level is intriguing, but the retro style and game mechanics aren't very original. I didn't feel very challenged, even when I went for the stars. I just felt like I was moving from place to place and occasionally pushing a box. 3/5
Simple yet challenging... maybe a little too challenging because once I got to level 3, it got too frustrating for me to continue. It's one of those games where you swear you timed it right, but in reality you didn't because you were a teensy bit too early or too late. 4/5
Well, I saw this game through to the end and for something that's as simple as one-on-one combat, I was engaged enough to keep leveling up my character to see how far he'll get. He's a total champion of the ascended now. It might take some grinding and is somewhat repetitive, but this is a very complex system you set up with some interesting quirks. I can't wait to see how Chapter 2 goes. 5/5
Usually I'm not too big of a fan of pixel platformers since the gaming community has oversaturated the market with them, but this one definitely sticks out in a great way. It has a great difficulty curve, beautiful graphics, catchy music, and a very compelling story. Everyone should give this game a shot, at least just once. 5/5
Still has that kickass Berzerk style that I recognize, but like everybody said, there are a couple of problems: the bat gang being a hindrance at low altitudes and the final stretch of the game having only water with occasional mines, nullifying a lot of your upgrades. 4/5
I thought this was familiar and then I realized these were made by the same guys that created Wrestle Jump. And like that game, this one is a totally random mashfest. Definitely more fun when you play with a friend and it looks random at first, but once you get the timing down, you can pull off some good moves. 5/5
Longanimal's signature style makes the game pretty funny, but the game gets too challenging too quickly since you can only aim left or right. Moreover, the guy moves way too slow, so it can really tricky to get a small group of zombies bunched up in a blind spot. 3/5
I am still absolutely stunned this game got badges. The rules are really stacked against you here: basically if your shot doesn't clear bubbles, you lose a clear bubble up top. Lose them all and more bubbles are added. When more colors are involved, finding yourself with no way to clear bubbles becomes more common. And it's glitchy as heck because sometimes I get fewer strikes, most of the time the dotted line doesn't appear, and when the game decides to be over is up to the hands of fate apparently. All it has going for it is a neat concept, but that's it. 2/5
So, found a few more nasty errors in this game: 1) The reaper seems to be slightly faster than you. I noticed in endless mode that even though I go through the obstacles flawlessly, he still manages to catch up. It almost makes Panic Power required. 2) Speaking of Panic Power, there is an awful bug when you die by an obstacle with the reaper hot on your tail; if he slashes you, the power is used up despite Fred being dead. Tons of fixing and polishing my ass. 3) "To use Afterburner, shake your device once." I love how they took the time to update that. By the way, you're supposed to press Shift.
@hercludes It had a 4.2 score when it got badged somehow so obviously some people apparently liked it enough for badges... who these people are, I'll never know, but they must be cuckoo.
