Ah this was the idle game before idle games became popular... which would explain the death penalty thing, that's something anti-thesis to current idle games which are essentially built upon reincarnating as efficiently as possible.
The mage's primary attack is useless. I think it would be better if it was a weak magical attack with unlimited range. It would make it so you'll aways be peppering the enemy with attacks while playing keepaway. That would match with the supposed "active" playstyle for her.

I have the SKILL CD at 170 and yet the cooldown for the first skill is still 20. Or is it that it is decreasing but the number isn't updating correctly?
The Necromancer should have been much harder, just so that it's not as frustrating that the shadow transformation is mandatory. When the Dark One was talking crap about Varthen I was like, "Bitch please, I got this" haha.
@Picsius Heroes with staves don't melee attack unless an enemy approaches them. Give your priest an attack spell like chaos bolt so that he can attack in between buffs.
Randomized heroes would make sense if this was the type of game where you're meant to fail over and over in order to gain cumulative benefits and eventually succeed... but it's not.
Yes, it's totally possible, but you may not complete all the quests available for you in the game.
