I'll explain a bit on how battles work though it has already been done so in the forums. You have three options:Attack, Auto and Skill. You get skills a little bit after the tutorial, they're the ones in the locked tabs in the skill menu. Auto makes you attack automatically obviously, but it isn't random, it is based on the skills that you put into the slots in the skill menu. They're the ones on top that say "To set the bar, in order to cast". This is also how the automated battle in pvp works. Lastly, Attack makes you attack normally. A bit on Dark Servitors too, each has one skill that they use per turn, some Dark Servitors attack, some heal, some buff. While I wouldn't call the battles "revolutionary", they may be "unprecedented" in that I haven't seen something quite like it before.
No, that was me. I felt that I needed to do that since you complained about not being able to do anything during the tutorial right after my comment that explained how to do stuff during the tutorial. Really, guys, how about you try playing the game past the first area before saying that the whole game sucks -_- It's an awesome game, and a lot of your problem have already been answered in the forums.
GUYS, to change equipment, upgrade skills, lineages and stuff during the tutorial click the the character portrait while you are in the, uhm, battle areas, those places were you can walk around to fight enemies.
The fairie is soooo CUTE XD I might actually play this MMO for a while. TO those who have played far ahead, does the voice acting and cutscenes return or is that just at the start?
Tip for sudden death matches with ranged units: There is no time limit. You can just roll around the screen, waiting for your specials to fill and then unleash them.
*spoiler*
Wait, so are you supposed to fail at the end? The poem seemed to hint that, and if so you should really show something that more explicitly says that that was really the ending and not just a bug.
Would have been an awesome game if it weren't for the controls. If ever something like this were to be made again I would suggest adding a keyboard control. Like each unit getting assigned a letter or the arrow keys being used to scroll through the units. Or both. Of course difficulty should be increased a bit.
The reason for the level 30 first job class weapons is probably that the first job classes have their uses too. Knights are more offensive than Paladins and have bash, Scouts have the movement speed thing, and Magi have slow and mana shield. That is also probably the reason why there aren't any alternative 2nd job class for Scouts and Knights as alternatives would go along the original routes of the first job class anyways.
Clarification on those tips about gem farming. You should attack the strongest mine that you can one hit with auto, so that you can still earn a fair amount of money. Poo is just the first one you can do this at and not the best.
If the poem replayed for you, you nailed it.
