RS Bahamut can be used out of combat, it will take effect on the next enemy encountered, so it could be helpful that way. Also, it doesn't give Quicken so make sure to buff up your characters with Quicken All for the first turn.
Geez people, try playing the original Final Fantasy 1 the one that didn't have a mana system(instead having spell levels), and then complain about this game's lack of mana potions. This game is easy, even Koohli is just a fight of attrition., just focus on debuffing him and buffing yourself and he'll be dealing about 1300 per attack and you'd be attacking twice for each of his attacks giving you the chance to heal. And if you make tonics(alchemy) you wouldn't even be restricted to a single healer and it's faster too. And to avoid running out of mana you should just normal attack him.
Gah, why did you give us mana regen? Now I can breeze through even the generic dungeons with a boostered Mari, and grind there never having to return to town(Returning to town is a nice break and gives a sense of progress). I'm not telling you to change it back now, but please either make it 1% or a very low fixed amount like 2 points per fight, or remove it entirely if you make a sequel. It makes the game too easy. Aside from that, good job for the update.
Nice, the balancing updates are very good, it really doesn't make sense for us to be able to stun lock bosses and now my trickster skills will finally see some use. The physicals needed the nerf, they were making the dungeon crawl much too easy.
And never make mana potions available in shops, again makes the game too easy.
Tip: If you're playing on a laptop without a mouse, focus more on the bladethrower. Just place the pointer at one of the corners of the screen, create a train of enemies until none come out and click once or twice. No aiming required. Also, when it's used this way, it's the longest lasting weapon in the game.
In case it hasn't been said before, the "stats" and "resist" buttons block the resistances of the bosses in the bestiary.
Also, having most bosses immune to debuffs makes debuffs worthless, and in turn makes the trickster class worthless, since there aren't any normal enemies troublesome enough to warrant having to inflict debuffs on them.
Hmm, make that spread out and increase, lost motivation to finish the game when I found out I wasn't going to get more ninjas after the second area.
And, you really shouldn't put the quit hotkey next to any essential hotkeys, in this case the spell hotkeys.
One more annoying thing about the circling thing is that multiple undead towers will fire multiple shots at a single enemy that would've died if the circling shot had hit immediately upon reaching the foe.
Part of what makes this game fun is what the characters say in battle, so it's kind of annoying that I never get to see what Anna says since she I don't use her(she's not really that useful). And fun as it may be I don't plan to replay it for that sole purpose. Still, 5/5.
