cool, and absolutley awesome glitch: when you open the rift, move a weapon next to it. it'll connect up to odin city through the rift.
unfortunately, odin city does not have the capacity to send packets through the rift just yet, but it's a lovely glitch; since, in creeper world 2, you CAN send packets through rifts.
:D
@dr mcdon: the third game now has a finalized game engine; the only thing the creator needs to do now is finish the storyline and make the story levels. well, and squash any bugs that somehow show up.
Yes, pig, it is possible to clear level 5 using no mortars. I got my time just under 15 minutes for that style just now.
you have to set up a ton of reasearch, let them run for a while, then kill them off to make room for reactors when you've got the important tech-namely, a max of one rate upgrade, 1-2 range upgrades, and maxed reactor efficiency.
Mission 5?
The secret is: attack the bottom section with launchers not blasters. don't build a lot of launchers untill you have the energy to support them.
note: it CAN be done under 20 minutes without launchers, but you really, REALLY need to know what you're doing. (balance upgrades, energy, etc. etc. )
need:
1. for cargo ships to be handled seperately, as in, an overall option to assign X cargo ships to the task of trying to balance resources between planets; said cargo ships should not drag the rest of the fleet with them.
2. A global option to split, or not split, fleets whenever a destination is selected. Micromanaging a fleet split via docking is a pain.
yes, frozty, the emitter location is either on a wall or on a corner.
A dozen? excuse me? there are about 3millionbajillion possibilities.
not as many as 5^400 or whatever (most of which are a chaotic mess) but still a lot of options due to the algorithm used.
Knucklecracker has a more detailed explanation on the forums.
speaking of "put the item into the cage. you take the item out of the cage"...were you referencing how, in "adventure", you can give yourself an arbitrary score by doing that?
...
After getting past the second asteroid field on hard, the final battle was...
anticlimatic.
A LOT easier than I remember it when i played through on easy, once I got past the second asteroid field.
ug.. for all the detail you put into this, there are some major flaws:
1. feeding heros. currently, you have to go into the tower to do this. that...shouldn't be the case.
2. salvaging the wood from old brooms.
3. Group select. I generally want my grinns to ALL target a monster at once.
4. Cleric, heal thyself. ...cleric, heal thyself!-need I say it again?
5. micro transactions are a quick money-making trick. thou shalt leave a way to obtain anything with in-game efforts unless it is purely cosmetic. this means KEYS. or at least selling locked boxes.
needs...delete stucture option.
i am once again in a stalemate vs cyan in that "CONSTROCTOR" mission.
you know, the one i need to beat so that stalemates don't happen?
the creeper is a corrosive blue goop based on a race once known as the loki, who encountered a dark power and...well, it's not really clear if the creeper is the physical remnants of the loki, or somethin they learned to animate along the way. the whole story is found in "creeper world 1, full version".
good idea, i will add some kind of functionality for frigates only, and a frigate and colony ship indicator on the fleet icon.
