One thing I noticed is that when I get down to my last two hearts, one hit kills me. It's as if I really only have one heart. A minor issue, but it can be annoying to think I have two hits left when I really only have one.
I really liked this game! It was simple yet addicting. It was fun, colorful, and enjoyable to listen to- I would recommend a high scores option. Perhaps time based? It'd be fun to try and see how fast one's ninja painting skills are compared to others.
I really enjoyed this take on the typical tossing game. It definitely stands out from the rest. The only thing that I can think of that'd make this even better would be an app for the iPod- I'd definitely pay a couple bucks to take this game around with me.
Ugh- in all seriousness, the backwards crash really does need to be fixed. It was a fun little gag at first, but it's easy to accidentally throw the plane in the wrong direction, and I am one to rage easily when I can't play my games.
This game seems to be hit or miss for most, and for me it's definitely a hit.
I would easily download this game for the PC, and it could honestly pass as a retail game in my eyes. The music, voice acting, simplistic story and addictive gameplay kept me hooked right up until the finale.
You've done a great job with this game, and while it may not please everyone, there's no denying that you have potential. I hope you continue to work hard and make even better games that blow away the flash community- this was by far one of the most innovative games I've seen in a long time, and for that, I thank you.
To show my appreciation for such an amazing change of pace you just earned my first Kred donation. :)
This game seemed complicated at first, but once I got started I couldn't stop playing it until I had gotten all of the achievements. This is a truly well made RPG that involves more strategy than a lot of others, but I must say that is leaves a bit to be desired. The game was short, and the story was a bit convoluted. The biggest flaw, however, was that I found myself not caring whether I was good or evil towards the end of the game.
Amazing game, but I'd suggest that you make the player's alignment have a more significant role.
This a great change of pace from the action games I've been playing. Might I suggest a pause screen, as well as a level select from the main menu? Without knowing what it did I pushed escape since "P" wasn't the pause button, so I had to play through the first two levels again. Not a big deal, but it would be nice to be able to play your favorite level without trudging through the others.
One of the best parts of a game? Being able to play it. I'd love to enjoy this MMO but that's simply not possible when every single space on the map is too close to other players, so I can't even progress the tutorial.
Pseudolonewolf, I have to give you props for having one of the most engaging and enjoyable flash game series I've ever played. Having the ability to carry your save game to the next installment is unheard of in flash games, and you pulled it off with aplomb. I love the story of the games, the gameplay, the art, the humor- all aspects of these games kick arse, and I hope you keep on making them, because I just can't get enough.
It's been a while since I've been able to write a positive review about a game, mainly since I only write them for games I REALLY enjoy. This was a simplistic, but addicting and charming game. You did everything right, and your daughter's voicework was adorable. Great job, and I would love a sequel... *hint*
Wow, this is great! I take games very seriously- I'm a tough critic- but this is out of this world! If I had Kreds I would give them all to you. Damn good job, sir, PLEASE make a sequel!
PS- Anyone having trouble with level 34, you have to use the Demonic Sword on the Spade of Unfortunateness to get the Misfortunate Doombringer. That's the only way to kill Tempest before he destroys Mella.
I enjoyed this game. Well, no. No I didn't. I hated it. But not because it was bad, because it made my blood boil.
When a game is so challenging I want to shoot my monitor but I am still addicted, it's a damn good game. Ignore the hate you're receiving- the majority of Kong whiners hate games because they suck at them.
Very good game.
